The best restaurant in Hagerstown. We've tried everything. This is it, bar none. I've never had a restaurant consistently exceed my expectations every single time I've eaten here.The appetizers are amazing. The fried rice, the noodles, and the meat are all amazing. The dessert is perfect, not sickeningly sweet. The Thai Iced Tea is a must-have, as are the Crab Rangoons and the Pork appetizer special when they have it. The Crying Tiger Steak is amazing. The meat is good on its own, but the sauce they provide takes it to a whole other level.The service is phenomenal. The server is always kind, super attentive, and remembers his customers. Tonight he even brought my girlfriend a Thai Iced Tea before she even ordered one because he knew she would. He even gave us the table that we always sit at, and REMEMBERED that.The atmosphere is great. Very cozy and pleasant, with thoughtful decorations, warm lighting, and string lights. It's just a beautiful place to eat at.This has been and continues to be my favorite restaurant in Hagerstown. I love the ambiance, I lived in Asia and Thailand was my favorite country to visit so I know good Thai when I taste it! For the price I wish it could be a little better with more options but it satisfies the craving.
The quality and flavor of the food on top of the great service was the best! I come from California and there are not so many great thai restaurants in Maryland but THai Rice is the best so far from so many I had tried!!

Absolutely DELICIOUS and service was impeccable. We were in the area and looking for a place to eat when we found this place downtown. My husband and I have never eaten Thai before but we love trying new foods. As soon as we walked in, the incredible smells engulfed us. As we were seated our waiter was very attentive, asking us if we've ever eaten Thai food before and went through the menu with us, explaining what to expect with every dish we were curious about, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious! The service was great. We will be going back very soon!

Stopped by Rice for the first time since the new ownership... The owner, "Biggi" was great... Friendly and attentive... We had the Panang Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice... Both were excelleent... Try the Duck Rolls ⭐... Can't wait to go back for more...

We were visiting Hagerstown for a week and struggled to find nice meals out. Rice Thai was a happy find for us, warm chai tea and Curry to warm our insides on a cold spring evening. The interior has a classy yet casual vibe, the service was prompt and courteous and the food was as good as any Thai I have had. Our waiter helped us pick a delicious vegetarian green curry. Thank you!!!

First of the interior design is beautiful and so clean. The wait staff is friendly and informative. The food is so fresh and delicious!!!! I can’t get over how great of an experiencing it was. We got the crab Rangoons, dumplings (all homemade) and the beef pad Thai + drunken noodles. 10/10!

Wonderful experience and great food! I ordered duck pad Thai - the duck was beautifully crispy and the pad Thai was flavorful. I got the Thai iced tea to drink, it was so good!!! My server was awesome as well.

i am simply blown away by rice thai. the food is INCREDIBLE, the service was spectacular, and they were incredibly accommodating. i placed an order for my company (about 16 people) very last minute and it was a large order. they completed it in a quick manor and biggie communicated with us every step of the way letting us know how long it would take and kept us updated. i’m so immensely impressed by EVERYTHING!!! 10/10

I just moved to Hagerstown from California. I dont have a car yet so I had to choose a place to eat within walking distance of my apartment. Rice Thai had some great reviews so I decided to go for it. I admit I was skeptical because I had great Thai food in Palm Springs. When I arrived at the restaurant it was about 30 minutes till they closed and they were no longer seating guests but offered to let me order to go. I decided on Pineapple rice and mango rice for dessert. They were out of mango, sadly. However I am really into my pineapple rice! It's super tasty!! I will definitely be back with my mom and granddaughter (Friday evening!). Cant wait to try more! Thanks Rice Thai! This is my new favorite restaurant! ?Vegetarian options: I studied the menu. There appears to be many vegan and vegetarian options here.
