I ordered a rather large amount of foods for delivery. The foods all where disappointing with substanial amounts of spice in the expensive crab cakes and even the plain mac and cheese had spices that were hot but if you like spicy crab cakes etc., order from this company. Additionally, the peanut butter pie has chunks of peanuts in it which was a bit of a surprise. I don't like to negative reviews but just shy of spending $1,000.00 with expensive delivery costs etcl, make decide to leave this review. I rechecked my order and it was mid-March when I placed my order and it was definitely your company. Keep looking, I hate to think your comment about not seeing my order was a way of negating my review. It's probably why I don't write reviews very often, in any case I hope you let people know about your conistent use of Old Bay. Thanks.

Ordered catering for lunch today. Timely delivery, quick picture-worthy setup, and the food was AMAZING. Chesapeake Food Works is always a consistent home run. Everyone raved over the food (a crowd favorite was the shrimp salad!) and they were so thoroughly impressed by the selection. Best catering service in Baltimore!

Terrible food and service with an overpriced menu. I have been to dinner here several times with friends over the years, only because this was where my friends chose to eat. The waitress’s have an attitude not realizing it’s the customer who pays their salary. Several dinners were incorrect and served cold. The crab imperial was not really a crab imperial, the cream of crab soup was terrible, crab cake not tasty, fried oysters were small and over cooked. Whenever, anyone would make a complaint the manager could care less. After eating here this past week I became sick for two days and decided not to go back.

I've come to these guys a few times when they do my neighborhood's weekly food truck night. Never been disappointed.I pretty much always get their Rockfish tacos because they're so good! Well-fried rockfish pieces topped with a yummy remoulade sauce and finely chopped cabbage. I think my only complaint would be that it's clearly enough for two standard tacos, but they shove it all into one large one, which usually makes for pretty messy eating. I usually opt for the mixed seasonal vegetables, which is a pretty large side and a good variety of veggies. Not bad for $14!Every time I go, there is someone getting their cream of crab soup, and a few times the truck has sold out; must be good, so I'll have to try that next time. Other popular items include their crab fries. They also usually have some jarred dessert, like crème brûlée or key lime pie. I finally broke down and tried their crème brûlée and it was pretty solid! For $5, it's worth it.The folks there are friendly and work fast to get you your food. Prices are definitely reasonable. Check these guys out sometime.

It was my first time here and I ordered the Calamari. It came to me very quickly but I was not super impressed. It was fried hard and I don't mind if the Calamari doesn't melt in your mouth but this was crunchy. It has good seasoning, I just think it was just overcooked. The atmosphere was great and this is a hidden gem that is on one of those off road spots near the water. I had one of the orange crushes and that drink was wonderful. Service was top notch

Just had dinner there. The view is amazing - The Chesapeake Bay and a light house. The food was good and our server Kayla was amazing. She was very attentive without being intrusive. It was a wonderful evening.

Stopped here for lunch because we wanted to eat lunch near water. Weather was cold and rainy, definitely not boating weather. Google maps took us round- about but we got here. Yes, it's right on the water, would be fun to be there during boating season. The restaurant was certainly not busy but wasn't empty either. Very clean, service was prompt and friendly. My husband had the Lady Baltimore chicken and shrimp sandwich. It looked delicious and he ate every bite, despite it being huge. I had the seafood quesedilla and it too was delicious. I would recommend stopping here, wish we lived closer!!

So disappointed. We go there on special occasion. Today was my birthday, and I had one of the worst dinner experiences in a while. Their menu say’s lightly flowered calamari, not overly battered frozen calamari. For people on a diet that misleading of words is huge. Maryland crab soup had no crab in it. Jumbo stuffed shrimp was small size shrimp with some crab on top. With the stuffed shrimp I got cucumber salad and coleslaw. Too cold sides, which I had to ask for because they were not brought out with my dinner. Fried chicken wasn’t drained and came out, totally greasy and the batter was under par. The fish and chips was a mound of batter with very little fish. Corn on the cob wasn’t fresh but frozen and was served still had ice on it when served. They took it back and put it in the microwave and brought it back out. We spend $120 on frozen food not cooked right. Heard they are under new management and sadly this place has gone extremely down hill. Thanks for making my 59th birthday dinner horrific. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone.

OMG! My family and guests absolutely loved your crab cakes. We have lived in MD all our lives and yours are better than any restaurant we have found. We ordered them uncooked and had them delivered on Christmas Eve. We broiled them with a pat of butter on top and of course, a generous sprinkle of Old Bay until golden brown. You can see the fresh, jumbo lump, crab meat in the photos. Thanks for your part in our memorable holiday. Between power outages and frozen sprinkler pipes at least we had our family and crab cakes❤️

We just experienced a delicious breakfast this morning. Ernie was here and made omelets to order! We had bacon, sausage, pancakes and fruit. I highly recommend Chesapeake Catering, they really did a great job!

We just spent a relaxing summer afternoon at Dock of the Bay. Outdoor seating allowed us to enjoy the breeze off the rivers leading into the Chesapeake Bay. Service was attentive and efficient. A cool minty mojito was the perfect summer drink. The calamari were crisp and tasty, and the Maryland Crab Soup was bright and flavorful with big lumps of crabmeat. We were well entertained by the seabirds, duck, heron, cormorant. The Lady Baltimore sandwich had a tender chicken breast and shrimp. Soft crabs were in season, and served stuffed with crab imperial was a double treat. We enjoyed the sides of home made chips and onion rings.
