“20240229 (Dinner)It was highly recommended and I can’t say enough about this local restaurant. Located right along the Potomac River and just at the Maryland boarder with West Virginia in the town of Hancock. The location is within a 2 mile section of Maryland between PA and WV. I tell you all this because the food is wonderfully delicious, large portions and ridiculously adorable. It is a local establishment and easy to understand why. The local restaurants always seem to have the best food and this place is no exception. Besides the great food, ample portions and great pricing, you actually select your steak from a refrigerated display case. I found this not only unique but awesome. The steak was prepared perfectly and also seasoned perfectly. Our server Stacey was friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you Stacey. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant if you are looking for great home cooked food at a reasonable price.PS: The cherry pie, which is homemade was delicious and a larger slice than you would typically find anywhere else.20240302 (Breakfast)Had to go back and try their breakfast. We were not disappointed. Delicious, massive portions and the price is very reasonable, unlike we have become accustomed to. Marvin seated us and Stacey waited on us once again, she must never go home. Thank you Marvin and Stacey. Will definitely be visiting when in the area next time.Parking: Plenty of available parking“
“I got steamed shrimp, broccoli, and crab stuffed mushrooms with a glass of sweet tea. I totally loved the environment. The food was really delicious. Service was really good. The two of us enjoyed a seafood lunch for all together, only $54. That included our appetizer and drinks. It's an all together wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returningWheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible“
“My family & I have ordered from here several times, and they never disappoint (although it would be nice if you could order ½ sizes of some of the different meals to accommodate children). The portion sizes are always fitting & usually have some left over for another meal or another person ?“
“A kitschy, quaint, down-to-earth establishment just off the interstate, the Western Maryland Rail Trail and the C&O Canal. The exterior is bright and friendly, inviting you in. Eats, drinks, and antiques (oh, and soft serve!?). Something for everyone. The menu is as unique as the charm. I had a fried bologna sandwich that was elevated(think caramelized onions and pineapple and a zippy sauce) beyond the classic favorite's dreams! Everyone at our table enjoyed what they ate. As the music played, the bike riders, the locals, the wanderers - like we were, all rub elbows in the open air seating(plentiful) and inside there were several little nooks of seating as well. Social distancing and masks apply. Seemingly dog friendly. I'll be going back, without a doubt. ✌“
“Visiting from out-of-town and snagged a reservation. So glad we did! Comfy surroundings in a former house with 18-20 tables inside and a patio for summer. It’s prix-fixe, 3 courses, so we were already anticipating an excellent experience, and it did not disappoint. Multiple choices for each course, and then there were daily specials! We dined on shrimp cocktail, which was topped with olive tapenade and served over a horseradish-tomato vinaigrette and a lovely lobster bisque with a mini crab cake on top and crème fraiche. Entrees were a crispy duck with rosemary gratin potatoes and a most unusual mango pear chutney, and a fabulous hanger steak with mash and mushrooms with crabmeat. That hanger steak set the bar for any future entrees! We were groaning thinking about dessert, but the flourless chocolate torte and a strawberries and cream crème brulee were the perfect end to the evening. The staff was outstanding and friendliness and service. We will make it a point to return! Bravo!“
“We had lattes, a cheese Danish, and a muffin. Everything was really good.... especially the lattes. The woman taking orders was extremely friendly, but in a down to earth, genuine way. She was patient with us as we took our time deciding what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite.“
“Great experience. Some good and some bad things. I'll start with the good. My waitress was super friendly and nice. She tended our table multiple times. Food was good but the steak was a little tough. Specials don't start til 5 which the menu didn't indicate. But the steak special was unbeatable. $20 for a steak, salad, side, potato, and roll. Husband got the chicken cheese steak. He said it didn't have much flavor. Lighting was very dark. But overall a decent experience. And as a jersey girl the hillbilly name and vibe caught my attention cause deep down I'm a southern girl. ?“

The food was incredible, the people who worked there were soooo nice and friendly, the atmosphere was great, the inside is so beautiful and there is the newer touchscreen version of "jukebox" u can pay n play songs n they have a pool table.... It was absolutely awesome. We also bought some ice cream, I got 1 scoop in a waffle cone n let me tell u 1 scoop is all u need! She packed the waffle cone full, I literally ate half n had 2 ask for a cup 2 put it in 2 save for after eating.... My husband got a milkshake which was pretty good size, he didn't even finish his. The burger was huge n soooo good!! The amount of food u get is huge in my opinion and the prices r well worth the amount u get plus the taste! Hands down loved it!!! Will definitely b back that's for sure!!!“
“Nice, quiet quaint restaurant. The breakfast was really good and or server Paige was very prompt and friendly. Thank you Paige.Lunch at the Morgan Tavern. Heather our server was great. We had the tuna salad sandwich on toast with chips and pickle. Also, had a bowl of red pepper red gouda cheese.Parking: Parking was not an issue, perhaps if there are a lot of guests, it could prove more difficult.“
“Talk about the proverbial 'Hole In The Wall'... you'd hardly know how to find it but the Prime Rib on Saturday night is worth driving from many hours away to get. Call ahead first because they will sell out! If we're anywhere near this place we'll go.“
“First time ever going to Berkeley Springs and was looking for a place to eat lunch and stumbled across the naked Olive. I would highly recommend it it's in a perfect part of the town the staff was super friendly and while you're waiting inside there is a lot of really neat pictures and colorful nice layout and atmosphere. The food was delicious. How did highly recommend it“
“We have been going for a few years and the staff has changed quite a bit, but MOST of the time they have been friendly and helpful. We've sat in the dining room, the bar area, and on the patio - and they are all great with a cabin-like feel. We have also had carry-out from there during "the covid years" and it was great.Things I've had and enjoyed: Fried Catfish Nuggets, Wings, B.Y.O.B (Burger), Clubhouse Club, Steak and Cheese, Chicken Quesadilla and my go-to the French Dip.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads to the front door.“
“If you're in the area, check them out. The Seafood Feast for two hit the spot. Daniel was our server and he is so nice and busts his tail. He checked on us multiple times, the food came out within minutes, mouth watering delicious. Affordable prices. Plenty of options to choose from on the menu.“
“We decided to stop at Coolfont instead of continuing on to the state park for lunch today. We just got a burger and a sandwich but was pleasantly surprised.Great view of the lake and wildlife, great service and great food. We'll definitely be coming back. ❤️“
