This location is particular is going down faster than the Titanic. Use to have great food and fast service. Now it’s bad quality, wrong order, lazy or no effort, and very slow service. Definitely not going back.

I have visited this Jimmy John's location twice in the last 1.5 months. Unfortunately, both times the staff had no clue what they were doing. They didn't know how to take orders properly, they couldn't follow orders properly, and both times they accidentally gave me someone else's orders. Thankfully I was attentive to know they didn't give me the correct order. The sandwich quality of Jimmy John's is okay, though their bread quality / taste has gone down in recent years. Additionally, their staff is not as welcoming as they once were and, at this particular location, the are incredibly incompetent. Will not revisit.

This place randomly cancels orders or doesn’t let anyone know when they don’t have a driver for deliveries. So you end up waiting for food for over an hour until you call them and then they tell you they don’t have drivers. Does this place even have Management?

Terrible drivers. Today on 175 a grey Nissan sedan was driving recklessly. Cutting people off and speeding in a 35. I have it all on a dash cam. Maybe drive better when driving for your job.

Where's the attention to detail?First of all, the sandwiches are good and made with quality products; I love the bread. My issue with JJ's (Hanover location) is training-based: there's no attention to detail. It had been months since I'd ordered from JJ's due to the lack of attention given to the orders. Last night, I thought I'd give JJ's a try again. I checked the box to have the sandwich cut in half - it was not cut in half. I asked for napkins - no napkins in the bag. I would not post a review like this unless the lack of detail had occurred on multiple occasions. I'm not expecting for Jimmy John's to be on the level of some 5-star restaurant. However, if they're offering choices such as cut in half, provide napkins, etc., the customer is reasonably expecting for those requests to be satisfied. I'm also not thrilled that it took an hour to receive 2 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips (through the app).

Let me start off indicating that the Arundel Mills location has delicious food, and it's always made to perfection. However, if you accept an urban socialized standard of customer service or some employees with a ghetto mentality, and horrible customer service, then visit this location. I have given this location 3 opportunities on customer service and the service continues to be deplorable. On 12/13/23 I was the only person that ordered within a 15 min period, and my sandwich was ready before I paid for it. The employee/cashier was cleaning the cooler, never said hello to me, and never took my money. I had to ask if the sandwich was free, and the same employee said I'll be there in just a moment. Mind you, I had the hot sandwich in my hand while she had to finish what she was doing instead of taking my payment. I refuse to return to this location unless the area manager corrects the customer service, and elevate the standards of their employees regarding how to act in a professional environment, as well as appropriate customer service. On food, they receive a 5 star rating, on customer service they receive a 1 star. Good customer service enhances the food experience, so this location receives a low rating. These are young people working and we must teach them, not allow them to accept mediocrity as a standard of excellence.

If you're going here, then you'd better prepare to go inside. Ordered pickup and waited at the speaker for 4-5 mins before then moving to the window after no response and watching as people ignored me for another 5 mins. Ended up just finding a parking spot to get my food. After going inside the employee said their headsets weren't working and they were ignoring people at the window while playing on their phones. What's the point of a drive-thru if nobody is responding there?Edit: Have to reduce the food score because they still didn't make the sandwiches right.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SANDWICH HANDLING OF MY FOOD. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED AND NOT ALLOWED TO SERVICE ANY CUSTOMERS EVER! I asked for a simple Jimmy John's little John sandwich and rather than admit she messed up on my order. She stated it wasn't mine then she made it again and voided my charge but no receipt given.. when I asked for a receipt copy told me to take a picture. Then took of items on the sandwich made and then threw items on the new sandwich. She didn't change gloves from the register touching money. Then had an attitude when I asked about the items on my order. Horrible service!!! Please train the staff on handing food and customer service!!! Then lied on receipt that I changed my order. There are 3 charges now on my account. Absolutely horrible!!! MOLD ON BREAD I think I'm going to be sick!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!

I have been in the area for several weeks on a business trip and I have been to this restaurant twice. The other ratings posted do not compare to my dual experiences as they have met all of my expectations. It is a chain restaurant so there is not much wiggle room for deviation from the recipes but both time they have been spot on with all of my customizations. The people at the drive up window have been pleasant and the overall experience was superior with fast service and a smile. 10:10 will return again.

Freaky slow. 19 minutes from order to handout the window. The car ahead of me had one bag that could not have held more than two sandwiches at most.

They will LITERALLY ALWAYS get your order wrong. ALWAYS. Ask for no lettuce? Get ready for ALL THE LETTUCE! No mayo? Joke's on you because they're giving you EXTRA MAYO! You want jalapeño chips? Tough luck, you'll get salt and vinegar and shut up about it.
