My wife and I decided to go into havre de Grace for good on a weekdayThere were few choices for somewhere to eatWe went into this place and the staff were nice but seemingly overwhelmed in their ability to provide the service despite the fact that there were only 4 tables with customers - the rest were emptyMy food was ok- not exceptional in any wayI can imagine that this place will get very busy come the warmer weather in the summer and autumn but it’s not a place to which I will return

We have been here many times over the last 20 plus years and have noticed a decline in the quality of food. We are late lunches so that might be the problem. We have not been there for dinner, only late afternoon lunches. Our last 4 or 5 visit have resulted in sending the fries back because the ones served were cold. Is the budget that tight they can’t make a new batch for the later afternoon customers? We ask for new, hot fries and within minutes hot come red hot fries.Today was our last visit. Again cold fries, and terrible chicken tenders. Although the crab cake was good.Sorry but we won’t be back.

We stopped in for an early dinner. After ordering drinks and soup we waited 30 plus minutes for the waitress to come back just to order one drink then another 20 minutes she came by to ask if we were ready for the check. We didn’t even get a chance to order our main course. At that point we were ready to leave and get food elsewhere.

Grabbed a quick lunch at MacGregor's. Food and service were pretty good, moderate pricing. Tavern side atmosphere was pretty lacking, but looks like a place that could be a good time on a busier weekend night. Will definitely be back!Parking: Street parking outside the building and a free parking lot behind the building near the water.

Disclaimer!!!! First off this place is old school cool, if you’re looking for Michelin style dinning get back into your Bugatti and drive further down the road. That said, the food is great, view is great, service is great. If you want a nice spot to get some good food look no further.Kid-friendliness: They got a kids menu and crayons

I used to love this restaurant but after finding out how horrible they treat their employees, esp the ones who worked there for years, I'd never go back. The food is average but the workers made it more worth it to visit. For a local place, they need to do better.

*Update 3/18/24The response you gave is pathetic. Instead of apologizing you say "these things happen"???!? No, these things do not happen at good restaurants with attentive staff aware of their surroundings!!!! I will now post this anywhere I possibly can... pathetic response! This place is horrible! We stopped in for lunch on St Patrick's Day. There weren't a lot of people in the dining area or bar so we decided it would be a good place, nice atmosphere. They sat us a few tables away from the entrance door near the hostess and where the servers stand. We waited at least a half hour as we watched the server in that area go to other tables, new tables, we watched the hostess that sat us walk by us several times too. My back was to the server hang out spot so I didn't notice from my view but my husband said there were at least 4 servers just standing there doing absolutely nothing while we continued to wait. We got up to walk out and I said to the server and hostess "do you guys not see us"? They just had confused looks on their faces and let us continue to walk out. We went to celebrate my birthday yesterday which is a special event in our lives and this experience ruined our day in Havre de Grace. Management....train your employees to pay attention to their surroundings and bot just their own tables! You'll continue to lose customers fast if you continue this way. Times are tough for a lot of people and eating out is an added expense that should be perfect from start to finish. We will never be back and we will also make sure our friends and family don't go there to be treated this way either.

Me and my husband took our 3kids (2 kids and a baby)here lastnight and from the moment we walked in there was noone to greet us or show us where to wait, so we waited for a few mins until someone came out the back(which i thought was the kitchen) and then were seated outside on the deck, the deck itself is very pretty with the lights and all but the table was VERY small. We ordered our drinks and were given bread and they were good and then we ordered our food... I asked for a chicken ceaser salad, my husband got crab dip with pita bread, my daughter got sliders and chicken wings and my son got a kids pizza... literally the only thing that was half way edible were the wings but they were soooo small compared to ones I can buy and make myself. My salad came with no chicken so I had to wait 35 mins for the chicken to be cooked, and by then we were leaving so I just took it home with me. The sliders were very very dry and inedible at all and the pizza literally looked like a frozen pizza you buy and put in the air fryer.. as far as the crab dip...I specifically asked the waitress if they use real crab meat or not bc it smelled and tasted so fishy like tuna or some kind of actual fish not crab. And then there was a dead fly stuck to my daughters cup...(yes it was already there and dead while she was drinking it bc we didnt notice it) We paid over 140$ for that meal and more half of it got left at the table... I do not recommend this place at all if you are looking for quality food... drinks yes that's the place to go. But for food, sadly never again. The only good thing is the location and wait staff...but somthing needs to be said and done with the kitchen staff and cooks..

This is the second time that we have not been able to get food here. Waited 30 minutes after ordering and the server said she lost our order and asked for our order again. We just left. Major issues with their kitchen staff
