We visited this restaurant this evening for the first time ever and the only positive thing I have to say is our waiter was nice. First, we were sat by the door where every time it opened the cold wind blew directly on us, annoying but ok. However, the food portions to price ratio is absolutey ridiculous. My husband ordered an 8oz steak with potatoes and asparagus. The steak was no bigger than 4 oz's, there was a small glob of potatoes and 4 asparagus. My daughter got the Crab/Shrimp Mac and Cheese and it came in a small ramican with barely any crab meat and only 4 Shrimp. I ordered the Shrimp/Chicken Lo Mein and not to sound rude but, it tasted like a Lean Cuisine microwave dinner and was not made with udon noodles as advertised. The waiter was nice enough to give us a free dessert but even that was subpar; a 3in round of "creme brulee cheesecake" but the sugar topping was rubbery. I paid $183 for this meal and have been sick to my stomach about it ever since. I should have talked with a manager and tried to get my money back because the meal that we received was NO WHERE NEAR worth that type of money. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will ABSOLUTLEY NOT be returning. Good thing we didn't have an issue in the restaurant because according to these bad reviews....the manager/owner may have been an issue.

Another perfect meal at our favorite spot, with our favorite hosts! The new menu is phenomenal. My husband had the Lo Mein and declared it the best dish he's had in all our years dining here. Can't wait to come in for the new Summer Weekend Specials!

Second time we visited Havre de Grace and had to return to The Vineyard - amazing wine list and knowledgable staff - you can try a variety of wonderful wines in small portions - and the food is just wonderful - creative - delicious - and they will be opening their patio soon and serving local beer along with their wine - a must if you visit!

Returning customers. We were pleased to have Liam as our server once again: really enjoy his energy and expertise. The tables in the lounge/wine store area are quieter with a little more “elbow room”, so that was great as well. It was very nice to have a relaxing dinner at our pace accompanied by good food and wine. We had the staple NY Strip and the Lamb Chops, which were prepared perfectly.

Seriously delightful experience. Being able to taste multiple (excellent) wines was a real plus. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The service was excellent. What a find!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Table for 4 for lunch. The food presentation was amazing and the food itself was delicious! Kudos to the chef! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helped us choose wines. We were there before the pandemic and an email from them piqued our interest again. Glad we went back!

Great food and staff, every time. Love the ever changing menu. The wine selection is fantastic, as you'd imagine from a wine bar. Favorite wine spot.

So sad. This wine bar has a good location in the very nice little town of Havre de Grace, Maryland. The food is good, and everything else I good OTHER THAN THE ABSOLUTELY INTOLERABLE OWNER! He not only has the most sour attitude I have ever encountered but seems to think the customer is there to serve him rather than the other way around. Been going there for several years but will NEVER pass their doorway again. Not worth the aggravation of this foul little man.

We have been to the Vinyard on many, many occasions. Even going out of our way to support them during COVID. Our friends will drive over an hour and we drive appx 45 min to enjoy the food and the wine. Usually we specify the back room and get it without any hassle. This time, we were originally seated in the back room until we found out after being seated, two in our party could not make the lunch time we reserved. (mid-week) After already ordering and consuming half a bottle of prosecco, we were told that without a party of 6 we would have to MOVE. To the EMPTY restaurants' other seating area by the bar. Of course we objected since we were already settled. They told us we would have to close out the check and leave if we didn't move. What a great way to "delight the customer"!! Needless to say, we will NEVER return to this establishment with the attitudes presented to us today. There are too many other restaurants in the area for them to expect to stay in business with this approach to "fine" dining. Book at your own risk and prepare for option "b" should the owner/Chef "Ron" take this approach with your party. Al Mancuso

Steak was not tender as previous and I ordered double mashed potatoes instead of greens. The serving was about 6 tablespoons of potatoes. Come on now, we're talking potatoes, smh!!
