Pretty good tacos with great service. Tried the chicken is tasty. A tad fatty but still flavorful. The steak is cooked well and flavorful. The sauce is a tad spicy and compliments both proteins very well. Definitely will be back.

I've tried placing an order for other menu items, but, I'm addicted to the chicken quesadilla and churros! Sizeable chucks of chicken and the cheese...honey this quesadilla is everything!!My son raved about the tacos and torta. Oh, he's also a fan of the churros.

I've been here twice and both times were excellent. The first time I was with a group of four coworkers: we had fajitas and tacos. Everyone left stuffed and happy. The most recent time I came with my besties. We had a time. We had the virus tacos, a large guacamole appetizer and a purple "lemonade" that I'm so sorry I can't remember the name of but trust me ORDER IT! The staff was exceptional both times. The restaurant is cozy, bathrooms were clean as were the tables and dinning area. Recommend.

I was driving home on the phone and my friend said she wanted tacos from this truck by Inversion Mall and I saw the truck. I almost crushed because I wanted to try but I was skeptical but she kept saying they had good food. I ordered the shrimp BIRRIA tacos and I'm glad I did. The tacos had sooo much flavor . The shrimp was also seasoned well too. The customer service these workers had on the food truck was a 10/10 too. I definitely recommend them.

Outstanding service from Kathy and delicious food!! We moved from Southern California a year ago and we finally found a wonderful place an hour away from NoVa. We will be back soon and hope to see Mexican Coco on the menu.

We got the Birria tacos and loved them!!! These ladies are so sweet and you can really tell it's a family business. These are the most authentic tacos I've had in a long time.. The side of consume to dunk your tacos in was delicious. We visit MD about every month and we are thrilled that we found a hidden gem for some comfort food!!! We look forward to eating there again next month!!

Food was tasty, but man was it pricey! Making brisket or some other cut of braised beef with a few onions, some garlic, oregano and other spices is not hard (nor real pricey). Does not warrant such high prices. Plus, no frijoles, no rice, and no tamales. Refries are usually a signature of mexican restaurants. Also, how can someone sell mexican food in a restaurant and not have tamales? I guess I still have not adjusted to PG county style mexican food. I'd rather spend the money for one quesadilla from Birrieria la Poblano on dinner for my whole family from Taco Bell. In fact, the new taco from Taco Bell is made with braised meat (and it's pretty tasty).
Ventured down to this place after reading all the 5 star reviews and I have to say these Barria Tacos were delicious! Actually had so much flavor I was impressed. I was a little discouraged by previous Barria attempts but I'm glad I took a chance with this place!! THANK YOU FELLOW YELPERS!I was greeted with a smile. The restaurant was empty and I was contemplating to sit down and eat vs take out to enjoy lunch at my desk...lol...Next time, because there will be a next time, I'll dine in. I ordered the 2 of Barria beef tacos one for me and one for my hunnie. A side of rice and beans which I could've done with out...a side of the Mexican corn Totopos which came with chips and a side of guacamole which I can not believe was $5 and was literally the size of the side of consumole for the tacos lol I mean compares to the side of guacamole from chipotle but that's not even $5! LolAnyhoo- it was delicious. Everything was satisfying except my rice and beans...i believe they needed some added seasonings for flavor. Wish they had salads and french fries lol! But I'll definitely venture back to this place and will try other things on the menu minus the rice and beans...

I don't even like corn tortillas that much but their birria tacos are stuffed with so much flavor from end-to-end. They do not skimp on the meat as it is absolutely filled to the brim and the limited ingredients push the flavor profile through of amazing tender meat and melty cheese. If that wasn't enough it came with aujou on the side to bring it to the next level.

I was waiting in line with another guy in front of me. The guy order his food and walked off. The guy who took his order also walked off and didn’t return until a white woman and Korean man walked up.( I’m black btw) I found it weird how I waiting to place my order and it wasn’t taken until “other” people walked up. Food is good if you like grease and cheese!

Went there today and was totally bewildered with the taste of both dishes I received today...I threw up literally after taking 1 bite.. I will never return. I wanted crawfish but my boyfriend wanted tacos...
