My buddy and I Just visited the tobacco barn for a tasting. The venue has a great look, Shawn was very friendly and accommodating. We had interesting conversations about their products, the area and several other topics. Last but definitely not least, the bourbon, rye and rum were excellent!We both left with a bottle.It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon and we will definitely be back
Did a tasting here. It was enjoyable and informative. I felt welcomed and the service was wonderful. The experience takes place in their tasting room, which is comfortable, clean and temperature controlled. My husband and I went together and we got plenty of ice water the entire time, which was much appreciated because it was over 90° outside. Was first to arrive, wasn't sure what to expect, seemed off to me that St Mary's County had a Distillery ...none the mess, locals raved of it, so opted to go for the tasting. Had a blast, one of the owners was out host, while other owners did some work in the distillery. Tasting was an awesome experience, learned more of history and great Bourbons started in MD well before they moved to VA and onward to KY. Maryland should be proud of this small farm award winning Distillery!
