i’m so sad beclaws closed down ? this was my favorite seafood place ever. i always get the combo spicy and it is great and flavorful with their special sauce. the crab legs were thick and their shrimp were very big. and the corn *chef kiss* it was so sweet and juicy. so worth the price. i hope they reopen again soon

Disappointed that the website, Yelp and Google haven't been updated in reference to the restaurant being closed. We've called as well. No update. Phone just rings. Drove there and there's a note on the door. This could've been handled better.

I want to be clear that I actually love this place, but don't love the fact that I drove 30 minutes just to read the sign on the door that they're closed due to a staff shortage. Would've been helpful to have this posted on their socials, website, and Google profile. I also called multiple times before taking the trip to no avail, but thought they were just busy. Luckily Red Crab House in Laurel is open (cheaper, and just as good!)

Went on a Thursday at 7pm. Was so excited to go because the Wheaton location closed & I would go there all the time. When I arrived to this location, it was closed & IT WAS ONLY 7. It said they closed at 9:45pm but no one was there & all the chairs where on top of the tables. Horrible!!!!!!

This place was very good. Their Casian? (Mix of Cajun and Asian) sauce was very nice. Great if you like garlic.

Great food, atmosphere and service! We got a group entree of crab, corn, potatoes, shrimp and crayfish. Loved it all except the cray ick. Highly recommend.

Beclaws used to be my favorite spot. Since the pandemic though, I've been very disappointed an dissatisfied on a number of occassions. First they started sharing their kitchen with some Caribbean restaurant (a seafood restaurant and a Caribbean restaurant sharing the same kitchen during the same hours????? Now they've decided for some reason to start selling Mexican food from a completely different menu. They are seriously losing us as customers. Service sucks. Just waited an hour for 2 orders. First, one of the orders came cold sent it back and it was still ready before the second order which was a shrimp skewer meal. Place was empty so I'm lost on what took so long. They blamed it on the shrimp taking too long to cook??♂️?.

The fried sampler was okay. Only got 3 pieces of shrimp and 2 calamari. Cajun fries were not seasoned at all. Calm chowder was nothing above average. I enjoyed the Hurricane drink. My server was lovely.
First time at the Hyattsville location —- used to frequent Wheaton. Loved our shrimp bomb and mussels in the lemon garlic sauce! Banana pudding excellent too! Be wish they’d bring back the clam dip!!!!!

I came to the happy hour on a Tuesday. The customer service was Impeccable. I had the crab fries and they were worth every bite! I will definitely come back
