They have some of the best food. I love their Peruvian chicken and choice of side dishes. The chicken is always freshly made and hot. I also like their Lomo and Polo Saltado dishes. Grabbed lunch here, half of chicken w/ 2 sides. Fries and Yuka, Yuka was drier than the desert of Qatar. Bulky looking dude with slick bar hair, gold bracelet is so rude/ ALWAYS has a little smirky attitude like bro relax lol you not flexing on no one. This dude has been working there for years, I did read another review saying they encountered a similar issue, something about the son of the owner, if that's the same dude I wouldn't be surprised.Food was okay nothing special would recommend Sardis before this hole in the wall spot. I've given it to many tries and it still don't hit 4/10 spot

Went to pick up a whole chicken and I was getting ready to serve it to my child notice it was rubbery and under cooked. I called to tell them and the son of the person in charged was really rude and nasty. I will not be going back. Please stay away unless you want food poisoning.

Just placed an order with DoorDash for chicken, coleslaw, and fries. I received chicken, Brussel sprouts and something I don't know what, fried so hard it can't be eaten. A waste of $38.00.
I’ve tried a lot of Peruvian chicken places (my son I. Law is Peruvian and we’ve been there several time) and this is the best I’ve had in the U.S. The chicken is succulent, perfectly spiced and generously sized. The sauces, rather then pre-packaged like other companies, are fresh and delicious.

The Pollo a la brasa has decent flavor, but not the best in the DMV. The lomo saltado is also in the average space. My low score has to do with the inconsistency of this particular location. Some dishes take 15 mins to prepare and they will not allow you to call ahead and place an order for pick up. Rather they make you come in and wait the 15 mins at their location. I have also been told they won't sell me white meat only because they don't have enough chickens at 11am? They just opened! I have had the experience of being told certain menu items are not available on several occasions such as lomo saltado. Today I find myself waiting 20 mins for the next batch of chickens to be cooked and its 1:30pm which is around the lunch hour?? These items feel like management issues which hopefully get corrected. Otherwise decent food in a central location, if you're lucky and willing to wait.
