Very bad pastry shop about 3 months ago I ordered a cake and it was fine because the same day they tell you what it costs and everything, now if you bring a decoration that they don't have there they tell you another day we will call you and we will give you an estimate they are the worst pastry shop before They were not like that. The attention is very bad because one does not have all the time in the world

i discovered this bakery about a year ago, their cakes are very profesional and very tasty too. great customer service, they have prepared a few custom made cakes, they were all reallynice. I will definitely recommend this bakery.

I don't know if they changed the pastry chef but they are making very bad cakes, the decoration and the taste are very bad, nothing to do with the cakes they made before.

Beautiful cakes! I got the Mango Mousse 6 inch and it was just enough for my boyfriend and I. Not too sweet, and so light and fluffy. Loved it!
Apparently during the holidays, there is no whipping cream to be found. My son's birthday was coming and I went to several stores to find heavy whipping cream for the cake he likes, to utter failure. After giving up the morning of his birthday, I called Flowers to get their strawberry shortcake, which is very similar to the cake I make. I was able to pick it up at the Hyattsville location after calling several times. The issue was, this is a whipped cream cake, but apparently they too were short on whipping cream because the icing was BUTTERCREAM, which defeated the purpose of calling the bakery. I could have done buttercream at home!!! Also, the workers did not spell his name (Michael- a regular DEGULAR name with normal Western spelling) correctly. I spelled it for her three times in English AND Spanish, and she STILL wrote it Michel. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. She "fixed" it but left the cake smudged. I am madder about the buttercream than the name though because they didn't sweeten it, so it tasted like cold hard butter instead of buttercream lol. You can't make a lightly sweetened whipped cream frosting with butter. You just can't. They don't do the same things. Flowers is a great bakery for a lot of things but they need to make better decisions in their cake baking and their staff definitely needs to take some basic spelling tests because that was awful.

Horrible experience. I was looking for a bakery on the internet and found this one. I ordered a cake more than 1 week in advance. And the cake seemed old (they told me it would be 3 milks and nothing to see, super dry and tasted like cardboard or rather it didn't taste like anything. The red decoration cannot be eaten because it is so bitter. I paid $120 for something terrible that We couldn't even eat. I would never recommend this place. Worst experience ever.

Sadly I think they changed the pastry chef.I have known this place for three years and I loved the cakes so much that despite a bad experience I remained faithful. I thought a mistake happens to all of us but today I confirm that they have dropped a lot. I'm talking about tres leches.
