I’m convinced these people don’t actually care about their business. Some days the rice is uncooked, some days the soup is spoiled, some days you will get frozen food which no one cared to fully reheat to make it edible. You can clearly tell they have different cooks and the one that cooks majority of the time can’t cook at all. Why is there no consistency in your food ? What is this nasty orange jollof that you have 5 days out of 7 ? Nasty meat that is so salty and no one bothers to clean , sometimes I wonder is it goat meat or is it something else ugh. Chicken is always old and stale. Nothing bothers me more than them adding “fried jerk” chicken or fried stale chicken to the peanut butter soup where is that done in ghana ? Food presentation is awful and gross many times. I have had their food consistently for a long time so I had to make this review. I’ve ordered over 50 times just because it’s the only “Ghanaian” food close to me and that’s all I crave but food is horrible. I have given them many chances to redeem themselves but nothing. I say this again I don’t think these people actually care about their business. Raised prices and never improved quality in fact even worse than before. The person who makes the dark colored jollof should be the cook on all days. Only had good soup there twice out of over 50 orders. Do better !!! You are serving people not animals. Customer service forget about it. I barely write reviews but these people NEED to do better.

The rice was good, and the fish had a tasty seasoning. However, the spinach was too spicy.Lastly, the pineapple ginger drink was not sweet at all and spicy. Although, good if you're sick.

First off the menu is not in detail so when it’s time to order your confused for example they have a lunch special that’s only consists of chicken and rice and they only give you one piece of drum stick chicken and hand full of rice for 8.99 Also when I ordered the beef the woman counted every piece of small beef it was less than a half of scoop of meat two plantains a handful of rice for 15.99 I can’t even believe this place serves the community like this and it was so funny how a woman behind me came to confront the management about how she was treated on another day about west Africans getting better service and a bigger portion of food than what they gave her. I’m sure they won’t be open long if they continue to treat certain people like this. I refused to spend my money there I thanked them and told them to have a great evening.

As a Ghanaian, my verdict is that they have really good food. Just right amount of spices and season. Great service and clean environment. I always go back.

Delicious jollof rice and ginger juice! The chicken is quite dry, not a huge fan of that. It would be 5 stars if the chicken wasn’t as dry. Best and (strongest) ginger-lemon drink I can find in the area.

Pretty well seasoned lamb and oxtail. Love there juice too. I mix them both. Taste like sorrel.

The Jollof rice was some of the best I've had in a long time, really spicy, and the tomatoe paste was not skimped on. The fried Croker fish is excellent! The Puff Puff, black eye peas, Agusi & spinish were all amazing and authentic. I would have given them 5 stars, but the service was unaccommodating and not as friendly as I would have expected, having been to Ghana. Even though this location is in the mall, it's Ghanaian cuisine at it's finest, I will be back!

The food is amazing! It is a surprising blend of African and Caribbean food! It took me back to my childhood growing up in Hyattsville, MD. Hyattsville has an international flavor of Caribbeans, Africans and Latinos. The food represents the people well!I had the Beef Stew with Jollof Rice and Black Eye Peas. The meat was so tender that it melts in your mouth! The rice alone is an explosion on flavors. Best Black Eye Peas I've ever had!Don't sleep on the fact that they are in a mall food court. Best food in MPG!Sorry. No pics this time! The food was so good that I forgot to take some pics beforehand! I'll add in a follow-up review when I go back to visit. ?
