I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice which is my go to dish. And, in my humble opinion, it’s one of those dishes that cannot be messed up ever. That’s not to discount the quality of the food which was great! Just as I expected!

When I first had Golden China the Food was good and the Service was good. A man (don't know his name) answered the telephone and the delivery was quick and he was very nice. Sometimes a woman answers the telephone and she is very rude. We have many options and Golden China is a place where residents of Crescent Cities, In Riverdale spend money for lunches.However, I am a foodie and have worked in Customer service for 30 years, and last week a woman who is always rude, rushed me, yelled at me when ordering, can confuse things answered the phone, and took my order. I understand they may have been busy however I only ordered a Steak and Cheese with Let. Tom. Cheese and Onions with Light Mayo and Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Since I was younger I've loved Chinese food at a Chinese Foos restaurant in Kingston, New York that my Family would always take us to.When I ordered my food last week she yelled at me, rushed me, and then a second person I didn't know placed an order after me with cash.The order took a long time, and she kept messing up my credit card several times and got frustrated with me.When the delivery guy came (not the nice one who liked me and said "I come quick for you the first time I orderand from Golden China and left a tip)A man I had never seen before finally delivered the food and said "No Tip" he had no idea if I was going to tip or not, I wanted to check my food. I always tip and 80% of the time no one had to ask, that is rude to me.When I opened my food I was glad I did, it didn't have tomatoes (that I love)/ on my Steak and Cheese, the Shrimp Egg foo young was nasty. (Previously good).I will never order from the Golden.Chinese Food Restaurant again. They have a Better One in Lanham, Maryland (can not remember the name) In between the dealership and the 7-11 Mannnnnn we loved the food and highly recommend it however DoorDashdash and Uber Eats stopped delivering it and would not give a reason why. Thank God, my Uncle brought me some when I was in the Hospital.

Ordered Golden China for dinner on Saturday night, per my husband's recommendation. This place might be lowkey, but the food is exceptional. My husband used to frequent this spot because he lived just 5 minutes away, and now I know why. I opted for the beef and broccoli combo with white rice, and it was a decision I didn't regret. The beef was incredibly tender, and the generous amount of sauce on the platter perfectly coated the broccoli, just how I like it. The rice was consistently well-cooked, bringing the whole dish together. I enjoyed the meal so much that I forgot to take pictures. That's how good it was. Golden China may not be a flashy place, but their food is a hidden gem. P.S. they don't accept apple pay - only card or cash!

One of their phone numbers wasn't working correctly and I couldn't get thru on the other number so I went there and ordered in person. The service was fine. The Chicken Chow Mein and Shrimp Fried Rice were good.

Been eating here for 10 years, and thought i had a pretty good business relationship with this place. They misunderstood me on my order charged me over 100 dollars in food. Have sworn to never eat at this place again. If you're calling an order please have them read the order back to you slowly. Also the lack of compromise left a very sour taste in my mouth. Just telling the story to whoever will listen.

Order food from here yesterday 3 cakes with gravy. It was ok. Paid $12 for meal. It was ready quickly. Communication on phone was a little difficult and the menu was confusing on web site.

Every time I deal with the young guy over the phone he never listens to my order. I always deal with 1 specific delivery guy and the woman. Needless to say I will never order there again and they will never receive my 7plus follar tip for one dinner! I'd appreciate if the owner reaches out to me in regards to this matter bc I was very specific about my order that I cannot eat now because I cannot have SPICY food. The young guy try telling me on the phone that I didn't tell him my order that way even though he read it back to me exactly how I requested it. Now I get to sit at work tonight with no dinner! You lost my service from this day forward!!!

This place stands out as far as your standard Chinese delivery/takeout places go. Food is always hot and fresh when I get delivery. Flavor is always there. Their Lo Mein is delicious and I haven't had a bad entree yet. Compared to most standard places who skimp on sauce or who just generally don't care, this place is a definite improvement. They're generous with the portions and sauce. Definitely my go-to for local delivery. 5 stars is relative considering it's still just a takeout/delivery Chinese place. It's no Michelin star restaurant, but it'll definitely satisfy the craving for cheap, salty, Chinese food which is one of my favorites.

I really, really want this place to be great because it would be nice to have a handy spot so close by for chinese takeout. However, unfortunately we have not so far had a good experience there. Food is not very flavorful, and tasted a bit old.
