Got the large oxtail with plantains with rice and beans. The food was delicious and an actual large portion. I can't speak about the atmosphere because I didn't dine in. However the food came out in a timely manner and I'll visit again for sure.

I ordered a large Oxtail Dinner and Mac and Cheese ? I didn't like neither one ? The Oxtail Dinner was NOT FLAVORFUL AND VERY SPICY AND SO WAS THE MAC AND CHEESE, I NEVER HAD SPICY MAC AND CHEESE!

Every time I turn round the prices are rising within a few months apart. So now that the large oxtail is $30 after taxes. I’m guessing maybe we will get more oxtails. Well when I got my plate I had about 6 oxtails on there. I just can not fathom how the owner raised the price from $24 to $30 with the most least amount of oxtails. I had to bring it to their attention stating this is not $30 worth of food. Of course I didn’t expect to get 20 pieces of oxtails. But 6? As if I ordered a small? No ma’am! So I brought it to the lady attention an she gave me more oxtails. I appreciate it, but because I like a large order an not the small. I do not feel like dealing with the small amount of oxtails for $30. An definitely not spending that price again. $30 is just absurd.Update: So I just finished eating what I could. I was extremely unhappy with the quality of food. The oxtails wasn’t good, some of them were tough/overcooked… the cabbage was crunchy and UNDERCOOKED. An the rice an peas were super mushy. I live just across the street and let’s just say I’m never returning here again.

Moved here 2 months ago and have tried 6 different Caribbean spots for oxtails.$35 for a large oxtails and a beef patty.... This place is crazy overpriced compared to others in the area. The amount of oxtails I got was least. The flavor was good but there was very little meat on the oxtails. The beef patty was good but very little meat and the highest price I've seen.

I tried this place because several people under an instagram post about Just Jerk in Lanham said THIS place had the best Jamaican food in the DMV. They lied. The small jerk platter was $14. The container was filled to the brim with flavorless boil in a bag 5 minute rice with some beans mixed in for color. The piece of chicken was so small I was finished in two bites. The chicken tasted baked vs grilled with only a slight flavor of jerk. The sauce was good and the cabbage was flavorful. I'd never come back here.
