Really good, fresh sushi. Every time I go. Actually this is my go to place, for sushi, when I don't want to drive too far. I frequent the Tropical Thunder, Dynamite, Maryland and Volcano Rolls. I also like the bento boxes, when I want a variety of food. My husband loves the teriyaki plates. The Yum Yum sauce is super spicy! Sweet, but spicy.

This is more of a take out than sit down spot. It was pretty empty on a Friday evening but there were a few other people taking food to go. We got our food to go and sat at some tables outside. Decided to give their sushi a shot and came away with mixed feelings - the Rock and Roll was excellent, with yummy spicy tuna and a great crunch. The eel roll was not bad and exactly how you expect an eel roll to be. However, the rainbow roll was quite plain and not very good. I think the sushi rice they used was a little on the sweet side, and there was a sticky texture (the rice seemed to all be mushed together instead of separate grains) - and this was even more apparent for a less flavorful, "fresher" roll like the Rainbow Roll, making it less enjoyable. Service was good - the original soda lid they gave us didn't quite fit somehow (I think it might've been damaged or defective) and they replaced it no problem.

This is my go to place to order sushi. I have tried the bento box which was pretty good. Fried dumplings very good too. It has a few tables inside but I normally order to go. They are always very quick and the food is fresh.

Service was pretty good for how busy it was. The sushi was a 7/10.... would've been a 6/10 but the cheap price bumps it up to a 7. They did forget my water though..... Small hole in the wall location compared to its surrounding restaurants.

Very unbelievable, if you want to work here beware of the owners. Very irresponsible management. I am a person who is an overachiever, close to 60 hours per week as I preformed better, I was promised a better pay, however the pay that was given to me made me feel like I was worthless. I ended up leaving this place for better opportunities because I couldn’t continue to work with people that exploited their employees. The owners still own me 40 hours of work and in order for him to pay me, he wants me to return to work, but now I am in a better place. The reason why I’m writing this review is to bring awareness to others.

I absolutely love this place. The food was fresh and super delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura roll and the flavors were amazing and the portion size was more than enough. I might just go back tomorrow.

Really disappointed! I got Chicken Teriyaki with noodles and extra sauce. The chicken is dry. Noodles are dry with no flavor. I haven't had their food in a while but this definitely wasn't worth it.

Great Japanese food! However this is not a “sushi restaurant” as many people commonly misinterpret, but a Japanese grill with Sushi elements. If your in the mood for Sushi and don’t wanna break the bank I still highly recommend if your in Hyattsville (Next to the Chipotle).
