I will give 3 star for food because it was normal home like food, nothing special but 5 star for service, food came very quick, If you are bored of paneer and chhole this resturant will not be a good choice, I ordered Woodlands special mixed veg which was filled with pumpkin and zero taste, better order regular dishes. Rest all taste were not good or bad.

Unfortunately, it's only take-out. It's a ghost kitchen in the jewel of India restaurant. Hopefully, when we are back in the DC area, Woodlands dining is open.

Sub-par food. We ordered two Thalis and what we got is mini cups of Subzi instead of thalis as we know. And the naan was dry, when we ordered roti. This is good if you are a non-Indian. Will definitely not recommend or be coming here.

We went here thinking the food quality of this woodlands would be the same as that from its previous location (before it moved to Jewel of India). It is NOT. We had ordered 2 different kinds of dosas. The food was tasteless and extremely oily. Very disappointed as we really liked the woodlands of before. Would not go here again.

(Vegetarian Review)This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the entire world. The buffet is an extraordinary delight of Indian cuisine, and all vegetarian. We haven't been here since the covid quarantine, but we used to go all the time and are hoping to come back soon. Be well, Woodlands!

Following the Washington Post review of Woodlands, we decided to give it another try. We used to frequent this restaurant when it was located at the corner of University and New Hampshire Blvds. However in the last few years we felt that the kitchen was producing inferior food and we started to frequent other , better Indian Restaurants. The recent carry out from Woodlands, now located inside the Jewel of India restaurant was a disappointment The tandoori vegetables included an onion, large tasteless tomato, a regular and sweet potato. ,large onion and small pieces of pepper, cauliflower and broccoli. Nothing exciting about this combination. A dish of cauliflower and peas (Gobi Mutter) was bland with no hint of any spices to liven it up. An appetizer of white donuts (Dhai Vada) was drenched in yogurt. Overall. it seems that kitchen is using spices very sparingly, and the dishes are bland and tasteless.

Excellent restaurant with amazing food!! I always come here for takeout and I enjoy coming here whenever I do, the service is incredible and it’s such a delight to come here whenever I do. Definitely deserving of the good reviews and stars it gets, would highly recommend.
