Food was pretty good. It's a sandwich spot. Had unique sandwiches. Strawberry chicken melt worth a shot. Get it in a box and has a cookie and a side. Not bad.

Expensive for what you get! And what really did it for me is they put all of the meat of the sandwich piled up on one side of the sandwich! 2 year old can make a better sandwich than what I was given.

I placed an order over an hour ahead with a set 10 minute time slot. I go to the store at the time set. 4 parties came in, ordered, and got their food in the time I waited. I left with my order 25 minutes after entering the store. The soup we got has fully raw potatoes and there were a few differences between what we got and what the menu said (different cheese on sandwiches than listed, etc.) Generally just subpar and kinda disappointing.

First time I tried the herbed chicken sandwich from Herndon VA location they put a huge piece of chicken breast whole and very well seasoned. Today I tried the La Plata location and they cut the chicken into strips like you would do in a salad and it lack of season.

My go-to spot. The sandwich and salad are a great value. The portions are great. The full salad is big enough for a meal, which is great. I do wish they stayed open longer. On weekdays. And being open on a Saturday would be wonderful .

Love this place. Nice fresh salads and sandwiches. Love the baked bread slices you get with the salads and the honey butter is to die for. The brownies are fantastic too.

The cranberry turkey wrap and potato salad are delicious. The best cranberry jalapeño mayo ever. Lots of food great prices and quality

I love the food from here but the customer service needs work. I work for a company and we all order and pay separately and we usually try to come here once a week. Lately for about a year now we have been repeatedly told to order online but half of us pay with cash and there is no cash option on the website, it also doesn’t state that this place is cashless so after numerous discussions about why we can’t order online and we need to call it in today we get the same response “you know you can order online” and then a bunch of back and forth about how we should cashapp each other the money so we can do an online order. We can’t do that ok we have older people working here who don’t have these apps and they don’t want to learn them. The passive aggressive “how to order online” page that was taped to everyone’s bags was a nice touch too. Working for a local business we try to do our best to support other local businesses but this place makes me think they just don’t want our business anymore.

I have had good experiences in person ordering sandwiches here, and the sandwiches are very tasty.However, I am allergic to dairy and my office has ordered sandwiches for delivery a few times over the past couple months. The past three times my sandwich has come with cheese in it despite repeatedly reiterating that I have a dairy allergy and explicitly asking NOT to put cheese in my sandwich.Once I understand, because we are all human and mistakes happen. Three times in a row points to a level or carelessness and negligence which is hard to accept/overlook.Allergies like mine must be taken seriously, as they can cause death by suffocation and/or anaphylactic shock. I’ve lost trust in the quality and attention the detail of this restaurant, and can only hope the staff takes allergies of its guests seriously moving forward.

The sandwiches are absolutely delicious . I honestly wish I had heard of this place sooner. I initially thought it was only for catering, but it is not! Stop by or call ahead you will not be disappointed.

I met a former co-worker in LaPlata for lunch over the long weekend and her dining choice was closed. I am not a fan of chain restaurants and recommended Apple Spice Junction as an alternative ~ it's a traditional deli restaurant (limited seating) with sandwiches, salads, and soup options. I haven't been to Apple Spice Junction in years ~ I am happy to report that they still offer freshly prepared reasonably priced food. This place is a solid 4 stars and is worth the try if you find yourself in LaPlata.
