Hands-down this is the best Ghanian food I’ve had yet We had the salmon with jollof rice with a side of spinach stew soooo good ?. Excellent customer service.

As a Ghanaian, I was excited to discover a Ghanaian/Caribbean spot in the area. The first time I ordered, the food was really good. This time around, the food was incredibly dry. The curry goat barely had any sauce and my friend’s j*** chicken was also dry, barely any sauce as well.Consumers pay good money for our food, and for that reason, we deserve quality food. I’m highly disappointed that I wasted this much money on our meals.

The service was good. I gave 2 stars because the oxtail meal I ordered was so disgusting and disappointing I didn’t even finish it and threw it away. It had no flavor at all. I’m use to Caribbean cooking since my fiancé family is West Indian. The curry shrimp and portion size were great. I still won’t be returning because the oxtail really threw me off and that’s my go to dish.

Delicious Curry Goat, Oxtail, Rice & Beans and Beef Patty. Was kindly given Plantain and a Coco Bread on the house, both also delicious; the plantain was soft and went down easily, and the coco bread was also soft and freshly made. Everything remained hot and fresh after a 50 minute drive before eating. If you are desperately in need of authentic Caribbean in the area (as I was before finally finding Foodmi), this is the spot.

I ordered the curry j*** chicken with yellow rice and a beef patty and everything was cooked to perfection! It reminded me so much of what my grandparents from Nigeria used to cook needless to say I left very satisfied and will be returning soon!

Love the atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and amazing food! Fresh Fufu was hittin! Got goat and curry combo with jollof and the flavors are savory and aromatic. Come give it a try and a review instead of sinking more coins into Chipotle.

Initially I was upset because I couldn’t find it and was really set on trying something new tonight. But I found it and I’m glad I did! I’ve never had Caribbean food before. The man who took my order and made my food was so nice, I’d go back for his customer service alone! I’m pescatarian so I ordered redfish with white rice for my lunch for tomorrow! I ordered peanut soup and redfish with fufu for my dinner tonight and tried sorrel! The sorrel… He said it was fresh I didn’t know what to expect either way so I went in with an open mind. I’ll definitely have to go back and taste after it’s sat for the full experience lol but I enjoyed the freshness . The plantains were by far the best I’ve had up to this point! The meal is very filling and has me ready to tap out for the night. Can’t wait to go back and try something different from the menu!

Just tried this place for the first time after many reviews and it is amazing!! Decided to try the fufu and light soup and it’s REALLY good! I took it a step further and ordered the side of plantains and mixed it with the fufu and a very very very tiny bit of the spicy chili paste they have. Once the plantains and fufu are mixed well, I dipped it into the chicken light soup and it’s so satisfying. Will definitely be going back tomorrow to try something else.
Food was great and the customer service was even better! From the moment I walked in I felt appreciated and welcomed. Love going to eat at places that actually want you there. The food was also cooked perfectly and with great portions. I highly recommend and definitely recommend to try the shrimp curry with Jollof rice!! So good!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I like to get my oxtail from here for lunchtime and it NEVER EVER disappoints. I love them so much. The owners are so nice and hardworking. This place needs more recognition. I got coconut cake from here as well and some patties and it was just perfect.
