The service here needs improvement. I waited for my order to be taken for over 5 minutes. This is while a manager was looking for a label gun that she found by the register and still didn't ask if I had been helped. She did NOT address me at all. There were 3 staff members at pastry that were just standing there and again no one asked if they could take my order. I haven't been to this Panera in years, and now I see why. This was unacceptable service by the staff and manager.

They ask to tip when ordering at the counter and have tip jars set up on the counter as well. This is weird to me as there isn't wait staff to serve you, it's just fast food. Additionally, I asked the question "Do you have sweet tea?" the order taker said "yes". I ordered a large, only to find out they have unsweetened tea and some sort of sweet syrup to make your own. It might be a little thing, but they don't have sweet tea, they have unsweet and sugar syrup. It's not the same thing. The food is okay, but the whole tip thing and tea thing turned me off and I won't be back. The only time I go there anyway is for the chicken noodle soup when I'm feeling under the weather, so no great loss for either of us. That being said, the whole experience made me feel, idk, icky.

This Panera Bread in LAPLATA,Md is very disgusting. A salad was ordered and a Young Lady was ready to eat there and behold was a insect in the salad. Asked someone and they said that there Lettuce was infested with bugs after the fact The Manager and Owner should be ashamed. I believe it’s time for a Health Inspector.

Very disappointing. I ordered a whole Green goddess salad with extra dressing for curbside pickup. Got it home and what I received was less than half of a salad. On top of that, it took combining all three of those small cups of dressing to fill a half of one of those cups to pour over my salad. I can honestly say that this salad was not worth what I paid for it. That visit was the last time for me, I will not be a repeat buyer. I normally check my food before I leave a food place but this time I was too distracted and exhausted.
