I come here specifically for the fried pickle spears - they used to be the best fried pickles I've ever had... until today! Not sure how these classify as spears or even fried. They're mushy & barely taste like pickles or how they used to. Bring back the old recipe & throw this one so so far away!!!

Been there 6 times, good people everytime we go. Food is awesome, look forward to my trip there every year.Just came back 1/8/24 and still my favorite place when I'm driving. Will be back later this year.

Same old Texas Ribs. Good food, good service, good value. Menu is identical to the legacy Texas Ribs Clinton and Waldorf

Where to start, coming from one who spends a lot of time in TX, the “Texas” BBQ smoked chicken had no flavor and the breast was dry. The waitress had zero personality and almost seemed put out by my even being there. Sorry folks, but this is the furthest from a TX BBQ that one can get.

The Barbecue is great. I stop in every time I go to Virginia and when I come back to go to Maryland (The ribs are great) and don't forget the Johnny cake !! I Like this place !!!! You will too !!! Enjoy ?

I really go to Twin Kiss for the soft-serve ice cream. The ice cream is great, the cones are large, the staff is friendly. They are also a Hershey ice cream shop. Stop by for the daily flavors!

You know you should be in trouble when you go to a BBQ joint and everyone is eating and only ordering the ice cream. I should have read the signs but noooo. I wanted some BBQ and had driven all the way out of my way to come to Johnny boys only to find cobwebs and a shuddered building in its place. So I went salivating to Texas Ribs & BBQ hoping that they just moved across the street under a new name. WRONG! The place was clean and service seemed good enough. There was a steady stream of elderly folks walking up and in buying ICE CREAM not BBQ. LOL! SO me being the hungry dummy I was, I ordered a whole family of BBQ. That took FOREVER to make and I am still not sure why. About 30 mins later I get my food. I had a long drive back home so I sampled one of the ribs. Wait for it...... WHAT?! ZERO SEASONING, BOILED, CLAMY FEEL LIKE A WET FINGER!!! I almost gagged. By then I was half way home on a long drive. So I hoped that it was just a bad peice. NOPE... The whole rack tasted like that and had a light funky smell to it. I ordered a smoked chicken salad as well. Chicken tasted like it had been sitting in boiled water with zero seasoning then put in the fridge, then microwaved before stuffing it under some CHEDDAR CHEESE ON A PREMADE CEASAR SALAD. Nice clean place but order the ice cream not the BBQ.
