The wait was ridiculous for the food and over priced. The restaurant was not crowded so I’m not sure why it took an hour to get food. That makes for a long time when you have a 4 year old with you. Never was asked if we needed refills. Table wasn’t clean when we sat down, sticky spots.

Love love it when Jaimi is working. I only come when she is working! I like Green Turtle but what I like about GT in La Plata especially is that she really takes care of her customers.

Food and drinks were good, but I would not recommend if you have a large party beyond 6 people. We literally had 25 people and only one waitress! Although, they have party rooms so it’s reasonable to assume they can handle large parties. Definitely not! Our waitress, Abigail did the best she could as we definitely enjoyed her pleasant and welcoming hospitality.

This Green Turtle is in the cut. Hard to find without GPS or knowing the area. Crab dip tastes good but really salty although the pretzels may be the culprit. Service can get slow with a large group. They have a private room for parties. I like Gambrils and Brandywine better.

This happened a few weeks ago and I'm still bothered by it. Haven't been back since. I've been going to the turtle for a very long time. I have no issues on the bar side but the dining experience has been awful. I have spent a lot of money here and I just feel so disrespectful. We came for dinner with a group of 12 people. Yes, I know it was a larger group. Long story short, half our party was seated and the rest stood until the table next to us was done. Our waitress came over and got some drink orders. When she came back the table left that we were waiting on. After awhile, we had to move the tables ourselves because no one was cleaning the table off or moving tables for the rest of our group. We didn't have menus or silverware. We had to get our own menus. We asked the hostess for silverware and he literally said that it wasn't his job and we needed to ask our server. Our server took half our groups food order while the other half didn't have drinks. I went to the bar to ask for drinks and the bartender said the waitress was looking for something which is why it was taking awhile. Before I went to the bar, I saw our waitress standing having a conversation with another employee. I told another employee about the experience after the fact and he just dismissed it and made excuses for people calling out. The whole experience took about 3 hours. It was almost two hours in and we hadn't gotten our food for the other half of the group that didn't order with the other half. I guess don't go on a Friday night. People call out and it's whatever happens and the staff doesn't care.

Went on a Saturday night around 7pm and it was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender Victoria was amazing. Our drinks and food were on point. I had the chicken tenders and fries. Chicken fingers were meaty and seasoned well. If you're looking for a chill spot to watch some games, I would say check it out.

Really torn on this review. The atmosphere and food were outstanding. We had a large group and spent a ton of money but the service left a TON to be desired. No one in our large group had a negative thing to say about the foood. We waited an extrememy long time on every request we had from salt and pepper to waiting forever just to order drinks. I would certainly go back and give them another try but just hope that the service improves.

Went for drinks after a stressful court day. Sat at the bar and was greeted promptly. Can't remember the girl at the bar but she was very friendly, great service. I didn't eat anything but the other two in my party did and was very happy with their food. Drinks and music were GREAT! I can't wait to go back for another outing here.
