I ordered a large oxtail via Uber eats. The portion was 5 stars but the taste NO STARS. The oxtails had NO flavor. It was oxtails with browning on it. Very disappointing !

Fish was over cooked or old. Either way it was gross and was drenched in spicy sauce .

I ordered from DoorDash but ordered from Caribbean Grill. The food was spicy and that was a good thing. I ordered the jerk, chicken salad and that was tasty. My husband ordered red snapper and that was spicy and tasty with the rice and peas and vegetables.

I’d someone places an order stressing No sauce NO HOT SAUCE NO PEPER it probably means they can’t eat it.Order king fish twice both times they ignored the request. This time they rubbed hot sauce into the fish. This tells me NOTHING IS MADE FRESH at this location.Literally had to soak the fish in cold water twice to get rid of the hot pepper (btw I have allergic reactions to hot sauce of peppers )See attached picture of the water with hot peppers flakes in it.

I asked could I get the lunch special during after hours and instead of just saying no they laughed at me and cursed me out. They were extremely unprofessional and childish. I would never go back here.

The coco bread was stale. Since I also bought sweet potato cake I thoroughly checked it and it was white mold. When I called to request a refund I was told I had to bring it in person for proof. I will not be visiting this establishment anymore.

This place has truly gone down hill over the years. Today I had a very nice cashier. He was very friendly. After today I don't know how they are still open.Callaloo and salfish were mostly filled with oil.The stew chicken was pan-fried chicken that was mixed in a sugar sauce. They need to hire people who can cook authentic Jamaican food or close up shop!I tried it about 2 months ago and it was awful. I said to myself, let me give my fellow Jamaicans another try!Never again!Y'all please save your money! Don't waste it at this establishmentn

This is a decent Jamaican restaurant offering the staple Jamaican cuisine. In traditional fashion they offer jerk chicken, brown stewed chicken, curry, snapper and other fish. The quantity and portions they offer is comparable to other Caribbean takeout restaurants in the DMV however the quality is quite average. The proteins are just too smothered in sauce and gravies for my liking. Almost to the point where it seems like Caribbean cuisine and Southern soul food fusion in how the proteins are smothered in sauces. The turnoff is the jerk chicken which is slathered in a BBQ style jerk sauce. It is a delicious sauce however it's just not authentic jerk chicken. What I've come to understand about DMV Jamaican carryout restaurants is many of them take traditional Jamaican dishes and alter it in an attempt to produce a menu item which they believe will cater to the demographic and inevitably the Jamaican authenticity is lost. Again, the food is good for what it is, which is comfort food, however just not authentic. Give them a try.

I always buy from Caribbean Grille. Today I bought some soup and a chicken roti. The chicken roti was horrible. The roti was very old and stale and the curry had salt for its flavor. I had to throw the food away. Since I always buy from them, I called to give them my feedback per the phone and a young man just hung up the phone in the middle of my complaint.I am not going back there.
