I came here with a group for a friend’s birthday. The food was great. It was lively. The service was awesome. There was a lot to choose from on the menu. The value for the cost was amazing. I haven’t spent that little on a meal for 4 in a really long time. Everyone enjoyed their food and the overall experience. Getting the Happy Birthday song in a sombrero was an added bonus. Would definitely return.

The service and vegetarian dishes were excellent on two visits in the past four months. However, the music was loud enough to be bothersome. It also made it harder for me to hear conversation from those across the table from me - round with eight adults.Parking: Plenty of spaces.

Went here yesterday with my spouse and had an almost great experience. We ordered ceviche, steak tacos, and a passionfruit margarita pitcher. The food was amazing, my only complaint was their complimentary salsa - it was wayyy too watery. We were seated outside, it was very pleasant. The restaurant was packed so the service reflected that, but it was okay. Even if our waiter didn’t check on us, someone else always would. My biggest issue here was the margarita pitcher. For $45, the amount of mixer they added in there is ridiculous. It tasted like 100% sour mix with a drop of alcohol. The drink gave me a stomach ache immediately. It tasted nothing like passion fruit and everything like expired fruit juice and it made my partner vomit. I’d definitely come back again, but a margarita would be the last thing I’d order.

My friend and I come here often for lunch. I absolutely love the fajitas. I think I've had just about every type of fajita combination at Chidos. My friend knows when she asks, "Where do you want to go for lunch?" I will always suggest Chidos. The food is always delicious, the drinks are nice and the staff are friendly and polite. I wish Chidos was on Doordash, but then again, it gives me a reason to enjoy a day out at a restaurant I love.
I've been there twice now. First experience was fine. Second was abysmal. My order was wrong and the server didn't came by to check on us for over 30 min after our food arrived. I asked for beef taco as part of my combo and they brought chicken. By the time the server showed up my party was ready to leave. I asked the server to remove the taco from my combo and just make it a two item combo instead of three and he said he would check with his manager. He came back and said they can replace it but will not take it off the check. I told him we have no more time. He said he could send us home with a taco to go. Considering we wouldn't be home for a while and tacos are a soggy mess as leftovers, this was unacceptable. I will not be back.

The wait staff hovers over you while you eat and they scan the room, as if to prompt you to leave. Very distracting and disrespectful to interfere with ppl's experience, date night, or hangout. Food was just OK, not bad, not good. I ordered the meal that comes with an egg, and they didn't plate it. The rice and beans were cold and had to be sent back. When it was brought out, the portion was halved when that's not how it was given to them. Just a mediocre establishment. There are too many good eateries in the DMV to eat basic and bland.
