The place smells off-putting as soon as you walk in. everything looks very dingy and in need of a deep clean. The wings had an off scent as I drove home and it was confirmed as I ate them. Idk if it's bc their oil is old or what but the wings were incredibly underwhelming and salty.

Straight garbage!! Salty AF!!! More bread than meat.. trying to be slick putting the lettuce under v the mat to make it look like it’s mostly meat! Straight whole lettuce! Chicken cheese steak is chicken out of the can!!! GARBAGE!!!

Where do I start. . . I'm a new Yorker who knows good Chinese carryout. This isn't it. It's actually the complete opposite. Let's start with the establishment itself, when I opened the door, I was hit with an extremely pungent smell of something rotten (1st red flag). Went against my gut feeling and ordered. Kept it simple, 4 wings with fried rice, with a side order of fries. I had to walk out while they cooked because of the weird smell. When I get home, I opened the container and got a whiff of the very rotten smell I got when I first walked into heartys. I took a bite of the 1st wing, it wasn't bad but not great. Rice was under cooked and very hard, still white in most spots might I add. The fries were good. I then bite into a 2nd chicken wing and that very strong smell came out of it. I literally gagged and spit the food out immediately. It smelled so horrible, it was clearly bad meat, yet the cooks decided to serve it anyway! I'm sure if I would have swallowed that chicken, I would have been really ill in the hospital. I know the smell of bad meat, and this was something else. I call them and tell the guy on the phone what happened and he couldn't care less. I HIGHLY recommend you go to YUMS which is about 4 minutes away at the food lion shopping center.

I ordered four different things here, all were terrible. I'll start with the fried whiting with french fries. The fish was breaded too much,the fish was barely present. It was like fish filler and bread. It was horrible. The steak n cheese was dry, I asked for everything on it, add mushrooms, peppers, hot peppers, the works. They didn't add any of it, but charged extra for it. I ordered two separate orders of four piece wings with mumbo sauce, one with fries, one with fried rice. I asked for extra mumbo sauce on the wings, they barely put any mumbo sauce on the wings. The fried rice was undercooked, hard, and disgusting. The French fries were good though. Order was almost $50 and they don't even give you a free egg roll or choice of drink. Will never order from here again. A much better carryout is in the plaza where food lion is.

The lady handling the phone got my order wrong and when I called to let her know she said she couldn't do anything about it and hung up on me. I called again to let her know she was being very rude and I paid money for food they did not provide properly. She hung up on me again and i called back asking for the owner, she starts saying call back later. i told her i wanted to speak to the boss or the manager at that point in time. She hung up the phone again. So I called back again and now her response had changed to the boss left already. This 5th time I called letting her know I would be reporting her, she starts saying $2 off and hung up the phone yet again. Very terrible service. Never has this happened to me at this restaurant and I demand this lady be terminate.

If you just want great Chinese takeout in Laurel— no frills or thrills — this is where you go! I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like here. Sesame chicken, Egg foo young, Pepper steak, Chicken wings with Mambo sauce… all delish! Would give it 5-stars if it had a better atmosphere.
