I ordered the fish and chicken combo and it was soooo good. Not sure if I got lucky but everything was hot and fresh. I liked the fish the best but ate all of it. Definitely going back.

Food is served way too hot and even after 10 minutes of cooling, burned myself, got eyed down from the staff and for doing no customer service and barely being able to speak English they expect tips on top of that? 1 star

This place has great fried chicken strips and excellent okra. Fries are good and everything is made fresh. Good size portion and way more chicken than places like Popeyes for cheaper.
In an area without a KFC, with places like Hip Hop Fish & Chicken, you don't miss it. From the fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned fried chicken (tenders, legs, wings, and breast) to the shrimp, hush puppies, onion rings. and French fries, Hip Hop Fish & Chicken did not disappoint at all. Fast, friendly service. Not much in terms of ambiance- it is primarily for takeout- but it does not need that. The food is the star and the food is fantastic!

The catfish they served was nice big fillets of fish. I appreciate that they did not over season it. Too much salt can ruin the taste. It was hot an crispy. Tried their wings also I really liked them. I was not a fan of the fries. I told them it was my first visit an I was not disappointed!!
