I really spoke too soon.... Kingsway, you have disappointed me with your meatpie.. I cannot believe what I just bought. Why is the meatpie made in a way that looks big yet nothing in it?I wished I had opened to box of meat pie you gave me... honestly, I wouldn't have accepted that. This is terrible ?I don't think I am ever going to buy this again from you guys. You better change, you guys are so well to belittle yourselves like this.I am so freaking disappointed.I could have come back to let out my annoyance, but I have things to do.I drive 40mins to Kingsway only to be disappointed with your meatpie.Just look at the picture of your meatpie. Not impressed at all.Just see the left over crumbs.. bigger than the meatpie.

Everything was great but bald guy behind register seemed very rude. But then have so great ppl working there. It was my first time eating African food. The gentleman was no help what so ever.

Kingway serves quality West African dishes. It's my only choice for family dining and parties.Especially Amala with assorted meat. Meat pies are the most tasty in the

I’ve been here twice already. Can’t understand why everything smells burnt. And I’m sick and tired of getting chicken backs and necks in my stewed chicken. Legs, thighs or breast should be the top choice . We paying high dollar for these dinners. You are not serving peasants the leftovers.

This is the best African cuisine restaurant in the DMV. That is the incontrovertible truth. However, the wait time is longer than the Mississippi!!!The staff are friendly and very hard working but the wait time is ALWAYS too long. When you do get your food, you are inclined to forget how long you waited for it after the first bite!Update.... The wait time...ugh! The wait time.... #facepalm!Parking: Fairly good parking. But the WAIT TIME... dear Lord...abysmal.

the food was great, my bestie goes here all the time so i decided to check it out with her. I was unsure of what i wanted because there was so much on the menu but i really enjoyed my meal. I can say the food was 8/10. very flavorful and i enjoyed every bite. When i asked for extra onions for my suya, it seems like a problem, and i still didn't get extra onions. after finishing my helping i retuned to the counter to ask for an extra lid, and as u walked up he said "what?" Just a not to the restaurant, customer service goes along way, food 8/10 customer service 4/10

I went to this location in January and one of my card was over charged that wasn't even supposed to be charged by a young lady. When I went back to get this resolve, the supposed supervisor Benji was not helpful. Please avoid this place as they will claim that your card is not working, only to later find out they charged all your cards and will not provide customer service to refund you back your money.Update: thank you to the owner of this establishment for taking a swift action and resolving the issue and promising that more training will be given to the staffs to handle future issues swiftly.

I had stew chicken, beef, & goat in which it was very dry. The jollof rice had burnt smell and taste. This was the worst food I experienced in quite some time. I was highly disappointed. Never again. I understand now why their rating is 3.6...smhI threw my food in the trash.

The food was delicious ? but the hospitality and friendliness of everyone in the joint was far superior to A LOT of places I’ve been. Warm smiles and greetings from everyone, kitchen staff, fellow patrons and front house folks. Food was delicious and prices are reasonableParking: EASY!!!
