Great place for jolloff rice and other traditional Ghanaian or West African foods! I don't want to butcher the spelling of some of the items I've had, but I loved the rice and beans with fish and this spicy drink that was also fruity. It was delicious! Great fast service, a little pricey, but the food is made to order! Well worth it! I also took home wings and jerk chicken that my children loved!
Food was Great I had jollof rice and goat, and jerk chicken and jollof rice.Staff members polite and professional.Atmosphere welcoming I was first customer of the day.I will be returning before my trip here is over.

I wanted to try Waakye after hearing good things about it. This Ghanaian restaurant was in my area so I decided to give it a try. There was a young man that prepared my order. He was friendly but I found out he overcharged me. The waakye was not so good and gave me food poisoning.

The food was ??The Ghana vs Nigeria jollof argument has been settled. Ghana is the champion. I had the jollof with goat and my baby had the tilapia with yam.Not the best dine in place but the food is banging.

The okra was just nasty, it's like regular tomatoe stew with a few frozen okra added, it was not even slimy, and to charge $25 for it, No I'm not going back I will do the drive to Beltsville to Rahama or even Cape Coast cuisine. The Suya was ok though but it could be better

I was just disappointed at the seasoning of the suya, which was heavily loaded with Maggi seasoning. The tilapia fish was extremely spicy. Take note, I'm no stranger to spicy food. I use organic ghost peppers from my garden for my scramble eggs, so when I complain something is spicy, believe me it is. My husband and I couldn't eat the tilapia fish. My husband said the jollof rice was tasteless. I ordered the brown rice which was good except for the suya. The only good thing about the food is the quantity. We could barely eat half of it even though we were famished. They forgot to put some Cutlery and we had to eat with our hands since we were out of town visiting. ?
