Seriously, one of our favorite places. They are so welcoming and nice. They have everything from sweet fun wines to serious dry wines. Lots of variety with food trucks, or you can bring your own food. The enclosed patio has heaters if the weather is cool, and they are pet friendly. During our last visit with our two corgis, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and even gave little dog treats to our fur babies. We will continue coming back, not just for the service and ambience, but for the wide variety and high quality of their wine.

I have been going to the Port of Leonardtown Winery for a couple of years now. I've always loved the wine, the people and the fun atmosphere even though it takes me over an hour to get there. I have also recommended it to many people. We love you Port of Leonardtown Winery BUT not today! We got dressed up for Halloween, and decided to go to our favorite winery (you)! We were so, very, VERY disappointed! Instead of doing wine tastings inside at the bar, we were asked to go outside to a small (and I mean small) table right next to tables people were sitting at. It was an unusually warm day for October and the wine outside was barely cool so you were sweating while drinking it too! There was no fan near the tasting table. On top of that, we had people behind us waiting for their tastings. The tasting was so rushed that I couldn't even remember which wine tasted good and what was what! It was an awful experience and turned what was supposed to be a day of great wine and fun into wondering what we just did and totally brought us down!! We didn't even feel like drinking wine by the time we were done. Such a shame when we were so excited about coming. Please, PLEASE put the wine tastings back inside where it's cooler and more people can do them at one time. Also, how about some more fans outside when it's hot. People would drink more wine if they weren't sweating so bad!

Such an awesome place! Went for the first time this Mother's day and was expecting a huge crowd but was pleasantly surprised. Customer service was on point. We showed up at opening time and there was plenty of shaded seating..although even if you show up later (and bring your own lawn chairs) you can definitely find shade. Bring your own food or stop at the food trucks they usually have (look on FB for posts). The wine/sushies were excellent! Live music was great and set an awesome vibe. Will definitely return to the public kayak launch for a relaxing float down a watershed of the Potomac River. Just an all around great celebration spot or weekend hangout!

First time visiting the winery and I absolutely love it. We were greeted with a smile and the staff was super friendly. She took time to explain the different wines and helped us find a wine to satisfy our taste for sweet wines. My family and I will definitely visit more often to enjoy the staff, wine and the amazing environment. One of my new favorite places to go and relax.

Nice property with live music and a food truck on specific days. Good selection of wines. Wine slushes available. Slushes were a little too sweet for me but a fun alternative. Kids can enjoy non- alcoholic drinks. Snacks are available as well. Pet friendly also. Great outdoor space for warmer weather
Comfortable atmonphere, excellent service, and wine from local grapes. I had a great time even though I went alone. The wine tasting was tasty and interesting. The staff was attentive and helpful, even though I was a senior, low vision, and in a wheelchair. A senior staff offered to make a food run to a Jamaican Grill caterer in a trailer, in the rain, to accodomate me. This will now become a monthly spot to take a break. They are open 12 months a year.

Such a fun space! Love the idea of having a wine tasting room in a park. We visited on a chilly but sunny afternoon, and enjoyed sitting outside at their picnic tables where we could hear the live music coming from inside.Southern Maryland is not known for its wine, and this wine was pretty consistent with other things I have had from the area, but I opted for mulled wine and it was very tasty with the added spices and aromatics.Would definitely enjoy many an afternoon here if I lived in the area.

I have nothing but positive things to say! My husband and I had our anniversary date here this evening and enjoyed some delicious white & red wines as well as their sangria slushy! Everyone was very knowledgeable and kind, the atmosphere was nice as well. We will definitely be back!
