I arrived late and they were close to closing, but I was still able to get last call. The place was beautiful and comfortable, I looked the menu over and it had alot of items on the menu that I would definitely order in the future.Wheelchair accessibility: I would say that it's so so for someone in a wheelchair if it was peak times. It may be a little challenging if the place was packed.

Very nice place. However the menu is misleading as they do not mention which plates and sauces have cayenne pepper and the wait staff doesn't bother to know the ingredients of whatever is being served.Ordered chicken picatta (which is basically lemon and caper sauce) and told the waitress that I cannot tolerate anything spicy/hot. Midway through my meal discomfort kicked in. Couldn't finish my meal. Waitress gave me the sad fake cryface and didn't bother to return the plate or remove it from my bill. Not much going on in leonardtown, this place is different. Overrated imo compared to other local places.

I reserved a table for 2 at 7:30. I arrived right before 7:30 and was by the girl at the front, with an attitude, that they were filled up and couldn’t seat us. We were told to go over to the next door restaurant, and someone would come find us IF they had an opening. I asked if I could leave my phone number and they could call us when there was a table open. The girl at the front told me “I told think I will remember to do that”. Obviously reservations mean nothing here.

Hair. Long black hair served on top of my bowl of Paella.I attempted to have the server maybe do something about it like maybe bring a new dish??? No the manager/owner came over and was apologetic but made no attempt to adjust the bill or anything but just accept they served me a $44 bowl with a long black coarse hair neatly curled up taking residence on my meal.Yes I did eat but every spoonful I thought what else might be contained therein?if a big black hair was so prominently displayed on the outside?Cream crab soup? Maybe 1/2 ounce of crab meat smothered in a think gelatinous, cheap vodka tasting ooze. Now for the noise level. The acoustics are deafening with the restaurant full of people. It is so loud it almost takes your breath away. No attempted any noise, abatement, or sound deadening. Came outside to ringing ears.I think I've learned my lesson, and I will never darken their doors again.Wishing I had chose to fast.AND THE WORST THING IS THE OWNER BERT REALLY COULD CARE LESS.

We were a party of four adults. We had a wonderful evening talking with our friends while enjoying a delicious meal. The waitress was very attentive and professional. The dinning room was cozy and comfortable. Thank you for a memorable dinning experience.

Went for drinks and apps. Old fashions were little too sweet and the smoked one actually tasted burnt after it was way over flamed by bartender, not a fan of mechanism they are using; it's all about the show. Truffle fries were very good, oysters were okay prob would have rated them good with little less toping on them so you can taste the Oyster.

What a find in Leonardtown! The food is excellent, the service is great, and so is the atmosphere. My husband and I are delighted, and have already been back four times. This restaurant is a keeper.

The food is always on point at Sweetbay. The service was incredible. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and detailed. She was very professional, knowledgeable (about the menu), kind and personable. It was a fantastic dining experience!

If you're looking for a delicious meal, this is a good place to go. The food was excellent starting with the appetizers. We were there on a Friday evening and there were two large parties in the back so sitting across from them was rather noisy. Not a place to go if you want ambience or a quiet dinner on a Friday evening. There was a little mix up with which waitress was going to serve us and that made us feel uncomfortable because one of them seemed rather annoyed by the issue and it was obvious. Our food arrived perfectly and really was very good. The prices are a little high but it's understandable in this economy.

Best food in Leonardtown, MD. The quality of the food here does not disappoint. There's not too many places that have fine dining in the area. This is a great spot.
