“I can't believe I've passed Spring Cafe hundreds of times but never thought to pop in. I'm glad I finally did.The cafe is lovely and vibrant inside and out.l and the owner was quiet but friendly.I ordered a little bit of everything--lamb stew, beef stuffed dumplings, air fried fries, apple/mango juice and milk, and veggie stuffed bread. It was quite tasty especially after you add salt and pepper. (I suspect that things are deliberately made mild to avoid scaring people away but that's just a hunch. )I definitely recommend making a stop for the ambiance and people watching alone--the food is the cherry on top. Be mindful that the air fried fries take about 15 minutes. That just gives you more time to chat.“
“Sadiq is a superb host. He is knowledgeable about Afghani cuisine! He is a warm and welcoming presence! The entire staff is attentive, friendly, and efficient.The food is exceptional. They are known here for their lamb and my friend was not disappointed. He said the flavor was consistent through every bit. A deep marinade of fantastic flavor. It was tender and slid off the bone.I ordered the vegetarian platter and the mushrooms were delicious. A perfect bite and cooked in perfect time. I am particular about the texture of mushrooms and they have the science down!!!The sauces that drizzled the cauliflower had a balance of spices that was so satisfying. The spinach complimented the dish added a sweet touch and steeped into to rice!Try the green sauce, and immaculate taste I could put on everything!!! I have never had this before so I don’t have the name.We had a table in full view of the kitchen. The chef and kitchen team were a synchronized group that looked so focused and organized.As we waited for our food you could hear a man at the front counter explain the menu and make recommendations with so much enthusiasm!There is obviously passion here! Good food, and a great staff!If you are in Hampden I highly recommend visiting, if the aromas don’t capture you first!What a wonderful experience!“
“Food was bomb! The food came out pretty quickly, and our waters were were always filled. The food came out hot and pretty quick and it was just so flavorful. It's pretty dim inside but still nice inside. Don't skip out on this place, you won't regret it.“
“Great quality halal foods, and great customer service.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but I get the vegetarian platter very often. It doesn't disappoint! There's pumpkin, potato-pea curry, spinach (super good!), and chick pea curry, served with rice, and a fresh tandoori naan!“
“Ordered the lamb and shrimp over rice today. My first time ordering from here. It was sooooo DELICIOUS!!! Will be my go to spot now for those platters. Can’t wait to try the other items now!! Very sweet employees. My half and half was good too!!“
“What a wonderful restaurant! Enjoyed the salmon and shrimp kabobs with rice and salad as well as the baba ghanoush. The salmon was well seasoned and very moist. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The rice was the best part featuring all the specialty seasonings from Afghan recipes. For dessert the Afghan Ice Cream is worth a try if you like orange, cardamom and pistachio.“
“Really great place to visit with family and enjoy great food. All of the foods items were great especially I like kofta and chciken kabob, chciken jalferezie, chillies chicken are my favorites dishes. My go to restaurants for authentic foods and quality never change every time I ordered.“

“The food is so delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap, and the chicken was very juicy. The vegetables inside were fresh, and the bread was super soft. The fries were also very good. Inside, the employees are very friendly and the atmosphere is very chill. Popular bollywood songs are playing at just the right volume, not too loud or not noticeable. Overall, it was amazing. I will definitely eat here again.“
