Nice little mom and pop type place. Good quick food. Hours are a little short because of covid.Friendly staff

Emerald Deli looks nice on the outside, but in the kitchen, it's a s*** show. Their food is sub par and the workers are useless. It's would be no surprise if this place went out of business. I wouldn't recommend this for the starving or the homeless!

I had just heard about this cafe re-opening in my office building so I decided to give it a try. The new owners are friendly. I ordered the western omelet w/ home fries. Both were excellent. My new local breakfast hot spot. Very fair priced for meal and the coffee was free that day. I'm glad I know I can just pop in any time

The food is good but over priced in my opinion

A tiny little luncheonette in the basement of the office building in which I work, The Emeral City Cafe actually has pretty decent food. Especially the Asian food, IMHO. They have a "pay-by-the-pound" buffet that I eat on most days when I'm in the office. I especially like the Chicken Teriaki, which is the best thing I've ever eaten there. Be careful making your plate, though... if you're not careful you can easily pile up enough food to make it a $15 lunch. (I normally spend about $7 and change, which includes my obligatory 20 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola.) Be sure not to overload your plate with rice or mac+cheese... you're paying by the pound so it's best to load up on meat. I give it 3 stars.
