Shipping - Do not use!!!Terrible customer service- I ordered crab cakes and crab soups to be delivered to friends in Denver, formerly from Baltimore. Total $285.I spoke to Gibby’s on Wed at 12:13 MST and was told order had already shipped; spoke to them later to get the tracking #.Order delivered at 11:30 MST the next day.Arrived with warm crab cakes and two very small melted ice packs.Friends did not feel it was safe to eat.I contacted Gibby’s and was told, among other things, that the manager would have eaten them anyway, after putting them in the fridge. I was told that since the package “arrived within 24 hours” they could not do anything, and that it had probably been placed in the sun. Time the package was sent is in question as the person I talked to on wed at 12:13 said it was already shipped, and manager said it went out at 6 pm.My friends and I, who have frequently used food delivery services and gourmet food services, feel the enclosed ice packs were insufficient for the size of the order and the receptacle supplied.I am awaiting a call from the owner, as the manager offered me a $40 credit, which I find unacceptable. We’ll see if that happens.Incredibly disappointed as I have used them as my go to locally.Very embarrassing when I was trying to send a quality thank you gift.
