I live in the city. On Sunday I drive out to Timonium to have breakfast and grocery shop. The difference between the services provided and the type of people that patronize the businesses in this area as opposed to the city will keep me coming back.

If you're looking for dinner food and a wide variety. Nautilus is the place for you . From breakfast to dinner and even dessert they have it. The nautilus also has the dinner look with the old fashion style and the service is great .

The service was great and our waitress was very kind. The food itself if pretty basic diner food, good but not revolutionary. If you have dietary restrictions I would be cautious as they are pretty strict with substitutions here. My vegetarian friend couldn't sub out breakfast meats from her meal for any other option so she was frustrated. She was told that no substitutions were allowed even under those circumstances. The meal was decent but for the and the lack of substitution ability and high-ish prices (for diner food) I would likely gravitate towards other locations. But if you are in the area and want basic diner fair I say give it a shot- it was packed inside so definitely seems to be a local favorite for others.

My friend brought me here while I was visiting from out of town. We just came to get dessert.First impressions were the quality of decor and finishes of this retro style diner were really neat. You can tell they take care of the place and it is very clean.The staff promptly greeted us and got us seated. Our waiter was very friendly. We ordered a lemon meringue pie and tiramisu.The tiramisu cost $8 so I expected a big slice. Desserts came out. The lemon pie was huge, tiramisu was in a small cup.My friend noted the pie was neon colored, started putting her fork in and texture was all wrong. It was more like slime my kids play with than food. Very unappetizing. You could tell it was old.I decided to try my tiramisu and just trying to get my spoon in was challenging. It was a thick rubbery top. Also very old and unappetizing. I expected more from this place. My poor friend was embarrassed because she was trying to take me somewhere.She called the waiter over and he promptly took the desserts away for us with no fuss. Very professional.My friend got ice cream instead and I opted to forego dessert. Ice cream was not stored properly and was full of large ice chunks. Not just chips, but almost ice cube size. Strike 3. Won't be coming back.I cant comment on the food but only dessert.A+ ambienceA+ serverF for dessert

Came here after a procedure that I had fasted 1 1/2 days for. I has a cheeseburger and fries and they were deliciously generous portions. I took half home for dinner along with a Blueberry Tart. Service was perfect too! Will go back and highly recommend!
1st time visitors but won't be the last. Had a simple late dinner and the food was great. Our server was accommodating and very courteous. Will definitely be back.

My siblings get together at least once a month. We've tried other places but we always come back to the Nautilus Diner. We usually get breakfast. Lately we have been getting the Cheeseburger Platter. This is a great burger. Also they do not skimp on the sides. We always have an enjoyable time here❤️

It's got a lot of atmosphere and a huge menu. Big portions . Breakfast offerings seem better than the sandwiches but friend got the burger and liked it alot. My chicken sandwich was good if a little over cooked
