Great customer service, unfortunately the food tasted like middle school cafeteria food. Easy to tell poor quality ingredients are being used in their foods. The chili was bland, probably reheated in microwave, so bad that the out of bag shredded cheese didn't melt. Who puts chunks of green peppers and other veggies in their chili?

First time going in a few weeks ago and I've been thinking about their Ruben ever since, the owner makes and sells jewelry too, but anyway the service was awesome I had a great conversation with the cashier and cook and then I ate the most mouth watering sandwich I've had in years. I'm legitimately writing the review now because Im about to order for my whole family.

We ordered catered meats for our Super Bowl party. Everyone loved the tender beef, barbecued pork and pit turkey. This restaurant really scored a touchdown. Thanks to Betsy and her staff for great eats. Stop by and try a sandwich or three!

It is certainly a good-looking pit beef sandwich when it comes out. The tiger sauce is some of the best in the area, and I'm glad they have a condiment bar where you fix the sandwich yourself. The French fries were solid. However, the pit beef sandwich had pieces that were either fatty or stringy. This made it difficult to enjoy the sandwich. One good thing was that the bun was big and hearty, and didn't break up in your hand as you were eating your sandwich. This is a common problem with other pit beef restaurants/stands.

Says new owners but honestly nothing is different, food is mediocre at best. BBQ sauce is just rebottled sweet baby rays, corn bread isn’t freshly baked and stale left on the front counter, quality for the price is way too expensive.

The food has no flavor everything is always cold they're chili is the worst nothing seems fresh I probably would never go there again this was only my second visit and it'll probably be my last the guys behind the counter were nice I mean the window says under New Management but obviously this new management really does not have their game togetherVegetarian options: It's a pit beef place I'm sure there's not any vegetarian optionsParking: The building is right off of Eastern boulevard in a tiny shopping center plenty of parking nobody was thereKid-friendliness: It's mostly a place where you just order and take with you and not eat there so bring your kids don't bring your kidsWheelchair accessibility: The front door is very hard to open its heavy so an older person using a cane or anybody on crutches or in a scooter or wheelchair would have difficulty getting
If you really have your heart set on pit beef then this is not the place. My sandwich was cold the bun was cold and dry. My son ordered the Mac and cheese and it had no flavor at all, it wasn't even cheesy. The only thing that was enjoyable was the fries. Oh yeah the cornbread was nasty as well. This was a big disappointment. I will never ever go back again. Dont waste your money here trust me. The only thing I would buy is a bottled Pepsi. $30 was a waste of money and time.

Pit turkey was very good, but the fries came out a little soggy. I was annoyed though, as my takeout order was missing multiple items. I thought it felt a little light, but was told that that was everything when I picked it up. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. It's very annoying driving home to find missing items.

A little disappointed. I was expecting them to be pulling the meat off the pit but it appeared that they pulled it out of the refrigerator and reheated it. Not what I expected from pit beef place.
