This is our second time. Not as impressed as we were the first time. The food was good overall but a bit pricey. See the photos. As for service, it was just OK. Enough small misses that you get a sense she may have needed help. May return in the future but for the price, there may be other options.

It was an absolutely disappointing food experience. Haven't been here for years, so we decided to darken the door and see if it was everything we remembered it to be: a staple of fine dining in North Baltimore County. The scallops were small and five to a plate. The prime ribeye cut (a $45 entree) had fat in every bite. It was one of the worst steaks I've eaten in some time. My wife's Salmon came out undercooked and had to be sent back. The beet salad had large candied pecans that should have been crushed as getting a fork on one was impossible. Even the French Fries were cold and overcooked. The service was good, but that was the only high point. After a nearly $500 bill, I am certain I will never return. The good ole days are gone.

We stopped in here one evening to have dinner however it was absolutely packed and unfortunately all we could get was a couple of drinks and we had to move on it looked like the food was pretty good but who really knows unfortunately there are a lot of locals that pack this bar and it's very hard to get a seat we were a party of six and were unable to obtain a table.

What an absolutely amazing experience. Food was phenomenal, staff was not just polite and accurate but went way over our expectations. Server was Lisbeth and the chef came to our table after dinner - just can't say enough good things about entire experience. I mentioned to server that we were actually celebrating Christmas dinner with family because we missed our special Holiday celebrations this year due to illness as my husband was in hospital from Thanksgiving through January 6th. We were very happy with their kindness. We asked for server to take our picture and she did a great job! Food was just the best (filet). 5 stars were not enough - would have given highest rating evailable.

We had a birthday dinner gathering at The Manor Tavern recently and it was fantastic. All of the guests were thrilled with the food and our server Shannon was amazing! She made the evening so much fun and memorable. And even spent time on the phone with our sister who wanted to pick out some wine to send to the table as a surprise. Shannon clearly wanted to make sure our evening was special. Can't wait to go back!

Overall, the food was good. We went for a board meeting after dinner. Booth seating was uncomfortable for the tall members of our party.Food was inconsistent - some dishes were delicious, and others fell flat. However, the restaurant is consistently at a moderate noise level. Decor is comfortable and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waistaff was cheeful and excellent. We never felt rushed.

I had never heard of the manor tavern before. I went there on a whim for a date night. And to be honest, it was beyond my expectations. The food was fantastic. Our server was great. Everything was great. I would definitely go there again.
Had the special Valentine menu. Rockfish with crab and the Lamb, everything was delicious. Service was perfect. Manor Tavern is a lovely restaurant, set in the bucolic countryside.

Our server Lisbeth was outstanding, competent without being obtrusive. Truly pleasant and helpful. My only small criticism was with the scallops and lasck of variety in the wild mushrooms, only cremini when a variety of shitake /maitake/oyster might have been more flavorful.

I was excited to try Manor Tavern but ended up disappointed. First, let me say that the service was attentive and professional - no issues there.The food, however, was a different story. The pork shank was tough. I expect fall-off-the-bone tenderness for $39 but instead I required liberal use of my steak knife to hack my way through it. My wife had the shrimp and pork belly which was mediocre at best. The shrimp were fine, but the pork belly was tough. It also was served on a massive puddle of grits that had a strong ‘vegetable’ like taste for some reason.Lastly, I tried the smoked candy pecan old fashion ($18) and couldn’t make it through the drink. It tasted like a bonfire. The ‘smoke’ was totally overwhelming.There are plenty of options more conveniently located. Will not be going back.

This time, we just got a bunch of appetizers...wings, charcuterie board, tuna tartare and coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious, as usual. The service and drinks were great too. This is a regular go to place for us.
