We dined from the experience menu. The food was delicious and our waiter was incredible. First time ever being there and can't find a single issue. If you haven't been don't wait. You won't be disappointed.

Our server, Latosha, was great. The restaurant itself is nice, both indoor and outdoor dining. I like the convenience of the location, but I have yet to have a really good meal there. The food is average at best and the drinks were so so, although I understand the bartender was new. Nice place if you want ambiance over good food.

Great place to dine although I wanted a specific item that was only served during diner hrs after 4pm. On a Saturday or Sunday all menu items should be made available. Folks don't necessarily wait until 4 or 5 to have a good meal on the weekends. Was a bit disappointed with that and the Long Island ice tea was very weak even though I asked for Top shelf.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at the restaurant! The food was simply outstanding, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The kitchen prepared my order exactly as I had requested, and it was brought out to me in a timely manner. The taste and presentation of the food were both impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The service was equally impressive. My waitress was simply amazing and very attentive to my needs. She made sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal, and was very friendly and personable. I truly appreciated her efforts to make my dining experience remarkable. Even the manager on duty went out of his way to ensure that my experience was a memorable one. He checked on me twice during my meal to ensure that everything was going well, and that I was satisfied with the food and service. It was clear that he cared about his customers and wanted to ensure that they had a great experience at the restaurant. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received. It's been a long time since I've had such a great dining experience, especially since the COVID pandemic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and outstanding service.

Frozen bourbon was excellent, has good wine list. We ordered hush puppies because someone had raved about it. I found them very greasy. Crispy salmon and acorn squash salad was very good. We ordered humming cake that was very good. All in all was a good meal. Our server was excellent. ( sorry I forgot her name)

Succotash in National Harbor offered us a delightful start to our Washington DC trip, marking our first restaurant experience in the area. The journey began with their impeccable hush puppies, a true highlight. These puppies were a marvel of textures, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to a soft, fluffy inside, avoiding the common grainy pitfall. The addition of pimento cheese with its subtle yet delightful funk, coupled with the Cajun aioli providing just the right amount of tingling sensation, elevated these cornmeal balls to heavenly status. While my wife indulged in the pork ribs, a tad spicy for my liking but reportedly bursting with rich flavors, I opted for the chicken and waffles. Here, my only critique would be the portion size, which leaned towards the generous side, reminiscent of a half-chicken meal rather than a typical PNW serving. Nevertheless, the flavors were outstanding; the salty fried chicken harmonized perfectly with the bourbon maple syrup, creating a delightful balance of sweet and savory. Complementing the fantastic food was the prompt and friendly service, making our dining experience at Succotash truly memorable. It's a place I'll wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking authentic and delicious Southern cuisine in the area.

Very well decorated definitely New Orleans vibe lively and crowded ,service was fine not over the top but met the requirements I ordered the mac n cheese it was good, collard greens were good but didn't have the kick I expected the cornbread I didn't like. The presentation is awesome but it is my preference to have a softer fluffier texture however if you like what is probably the original texture of cornbread you may like it. The portions are healthy.

We sat at the bar for quick service since there were only a couple of patrons there. The bar tender quickly took our orders, we received our food. The deviled eggs are good, the shrimp n grits didn't have much flavor and it was in a very shallow bowl. Not much to talk about, but the bar tender who stood right in front of us never checked on us and stopped serving us after our food arrived. No refills or check up for the whole 2.5hrs we were there, while he was also right there. Not the best experience.

First timer. We had the family meal to try and a variety. The cornbread, chicken, ribs., fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese were so disappointing. Not good at all. The devil eggs, catfish, and collard greens was good. The waiter and service were great. The food not so much. I won’t be returning.

Ordered via ubereats… smoked wings were NOT smoked and just dropped in the fryer. No smokey taste, no tell tale pinkish tinge to skin NOTHING. Didn’t even put a drop of season or spice on the wings. Collard greens with kimchi and country ham had NO KIMCHI AND NO COUNTRY HAM. Fries were soggy. DISAPPOINTED enough to write a review which never do.

The food was great, large portions! They have a really neat bar area but really cute outdoor seating area. We had Michael as our server and he was spectacular, very personable young man! We started with the pecan sweet rolls and coffee while waiting for our Maryland crab cake Benedict and avocado toast BLT. Everything was delicious! We will be back!

Succotash is a phenomenal restaurant experience . The french toast was the best I've had in years. The grits had great consistency. The staff is very pleasant. Definitely will be back.

Wow, wow, wow. It's been a while since I've been somewhere where I could honestly give it full five stars across the board and wish there was a six star. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional. We loved our bartender. They made unique drinks for us. They checked on us very frequently and even the manager came out to talk to everyone. Also I love the low lighting and ambience. I was just doing dinner with my mom but it would have been great to do dinner with a partner

It was OK - server very attentive and I'd echo the service being great. Food was hit or miss; steak, deviled eggs (and I don't even eat them), FRIES were great. Chicken and waffles...waffle was fine, I'm almost certain the chicken was refried and there's no chance I'd get it again. Shrimp and grits were meh and would also pass. I would definitely consider coming back in the distant future but do I like it enough to have it delivered? Probably not, though the atmosphere contributes to the experience.
