“I came here for dinner during DC Restaurant Week. I was really looking forward to trying this place out because I’m a huge fan of their sister restaurant, Daikaya. We made reservations, but were kept waiting after we arrived. To the manager’s credit, he made us comfortable while we waited with a drink and apologized for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. We were seated upstairs next to a large diorama of…well, I’m still not quite sure what it was lol. The decor in the restaurant seems disjointed and not at all cohesive. I thought it was odd.We started with the arugula salad which was fine. I also had the Brussels sprouts which were very good. I had a slice of the Tonari pizza and my friend had a slice of the Mentaiko & Corn pizza. Both were super delicious! The corn pizza has a very unique flavor that’s hard to describe, but it works. We also both ordered the Mentaiko pasta which was equally delicious. For drinks, I had the Daidai, which has zero alcohol and was good; it’s pretty fruity but not overly sweet. They were offering dessert when we were there, and we both had an espresso affogato.All in all, I thought the restaurant was great. They had recently opened, so I could tell they were still working out some kinks, but I think it’s a great addition to the food scene in downtown. The prices are also reasonable. I would return!“

“Big fan. This brewery has a good rotation of seasonals and flagship standbys. I'd say they tend to go more dark/heavy on their offerings than others but they do it well. Their patio is nice enough for being on a non picturesque street. Inside is a bit dark. I've also attended small business promotion fairs here, they open up a space beyond the bar for vendors. Staff are knowledgeable and kind. Worth the bike ride from my neck of the woods. A good stop after a visit to the arboretum!“

“My son and I ate at Bacio today and let me say we had a wonderful experience. We sat on the cute patio and it was so peaceful and quiet, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of DC. The server was friendly and attentive. I liked the alcohol selection, and had wine. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks which we could tell were made in house and not just reheated from frozen like in most other places. The pizza my son got was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my arugula salad with shrimp. I wish they were a little more cooked but that is a personal preference. The desserts very very good too, we really liked the limoncello raspberry cake. However, today, I was very disappointed. I called ahead for a carry out order, I was hung up on, called back told it would be a long wait. It ended up being a two hour wait. The ONE thing I emphasized was wanting a side of Alfredo. It’s why I ordered the entree I did, and it’s why I ordered garlic bread. “Haven't had Domino's in forever, decided to give it a try again from my numerous bad experiences with Papa Johns. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered 6 cheese pizza w/ pepperoni and extra everything. Shortly after placing order, received a call to confirm and they kindly adjusted ready time for 40 min later. From seeing previous reviews of not being ready on time is why I ordered it extra early to begin with. There was no problems though and it was ready exactly when I arrived. Again with other reviews of questionable deliveries, I decided to do carryout instead, and skip that gamble. Had even gone like 15min out of my way to use this store specifically rather than ones closer to me from the bad reviews they all received. Was definitely worth it. On an additional note that I usually feel bad/diarrhea from Papa Johns, but Domino's was just simply quality, good tasting pizza. Thank you.“
