I discovered BC by the recommendation of my late spouse. This place has been my go to for quick Indian restaurant. Generous portions, the dishes are very tasty, the staff are very hospitable and friendly. You can't beat the price. Highly highly

I would say these guys are over rated. We got a take out and they recommended biryani to be their best..From looks it looks ideal.. but taste was ok.. and rice was mushy under the ideal looks..My recommendation try dine to see if that’s any better..

Dear Diary - I'm glad there's a delicious restaurant nearby for take out. Every time I crave Indian food, this place is the spot! Their food is always cooked perfectly, nothing is dry, and every bite is full of wonderful spices. I'm not sure when they will open their dining room for onsite meals, but their takeout is more than enough to hit the spot.

This place is only take out. Ordered chicken 65, fried fish and goat biryani.Chicken 65 was the best. Biryani was tasty but a little bit dry and not juicyand the fish was a bit soggy. Overall not too bad but Paradise Biryani is much

Can't believe I'm only now discovering this gem. My husband and I stopped by Biriyani City for a late afternoon lunch/snack, and got the Fish Fry 65 and Pepper Chicken Fry to-go. The Fish Fry 65 was FANTASTIC - soft and flaky fish inside with a nice spicy fried batter. The Pepper Chicken Fry was quite good too, with just enough dry gravy that you can eat it with rice. They have three levels of spice: Mild, Medium and Spicy. If you are not used to spicy food, go mild; if you eat spicy food on the regular (like us), go medium. Medium was a good amount of heat on our spiciest dish (Pepper Chicken Fry); any more and we probably wouldn't have been able to taste the flavors of the dish. Indoor seating is pretty sparse - it seems like most of their business is takeout. I can't wait to come back and try what seems to be the star of the show - the biriyani!

I am delighted to recommend this establishment based on my exceptional experience with delectable cuisine and high quality. I indulged in Chicken Biryani (with bone), Dosa, and Badam Milk, all of which were a sheer delight to the taste buds. This place offers an authentic taste of Indian cuisine, maintaining its original flavors unlike many establishments that conform to U.S. standards, resulting in a uniquely spicy experience that is hard to come by in the U.S. The portions are also satisfactory.I would advise informing them in advance about your preferred spice level when placing an order; they are adept at accommodating individual preferences. The staff is exceptionally courteous and efficient. While the establishment is of decent size, it primarily operates as a take-out restaurant. Nevertheless, there are 2-3 tables available if you wish to dine in. They provide everything in to-go packaging, allowing you to help yourself and dine on-site.My only suggestion would be to consider providing a larger quantity of sambar with each dosa. Overall, it stands out as one of my favorite Indian restaurants, particularly for its authentic and spicy offerings.I wholeheartedly give it a 5-star rating for its outstanding taste!

This restaurant is a take out only restaurant, which I don’t mind. I usually order their Chicken Masala or Chicken Biryani (Indian spicy). It’s sooo good. Their portion sizes are good too. I can usually eat what I order from them for lunch, and there’s still a good amount left for dinner. Side note: call ahead and place your order if you can. My order is usually ready within 20 mins after I’ve placed it.

Great place to go if you want great Indian food! Not the best but certainly not the worst I’ve had.4 stars for 4 reasons1. Great butter chicken! Sauce was on point and the chicken was somewhat juicy/tender!The Kerela Parotta was pretty good super flavorful. The garlic Nann was good as well and the mango lassi was amazing.2. The cashier was nice and knew the menu really well.3. The price is relatively good for what you get. Good portion for what you pay.4. The menu was really easy to follow and not too overwhelming to look at.Minus 1 star because the goat meat was dry! The egg biryani only came with 2 full eggs sliced in half! For what you pay you should get at least 1-2 more eggs. I wish the Kerela Parotta was more crispy! Kinda soft but still good.

Terrible and painfully slow service. Food is okay but not worth the service or the 45 minute wait. Most disappointing Indian restaurant I've ever visited and it's normally my

I tried this spot on Sunday while I was shopping in Bethesda. I loved that they had so many non meat options on their menu and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the samosas and vegetable biryani. The food was pretty good and very fulfilling. However I wish the biryani rice to vegetable ratio was a little more proportionate. A little too heavy on the rice. I'll have to try another entree next time. I don't know the names of the sauces but there were a few that were spicy yet flavorful. I think what I loved the most was the customer service. The staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting my order. The restaurant style was traditional and clean.
