Great customer service tonight at Porthouse Crabcakes & Creamery. It was our anniversary and we were wanting ice cream. We walked up at 6:30 and realized they closed at 4. The owner, Kelly, was leaving as we were walking away. He asked if we wanted ice cream and re-opened the store just for us! We didn’t reaize they make their own ice cream - it was delicious, highly recommend.

One of the work crab cakes I have ever had!! It was watery, and flavorless. It was basically unettable. The fries were really good. The creamy crab soup was also missing flavor, we had to add a bunch of old bay to even be able to eat it. Would never go back or recommend.

We were very excited to get our first authentic MD crab cake and were referred to this place by a shop owner down the street. The atmosphere was cute and you could tell it's locally-owned. The prices were pretty high... ~$25 for a single crab cake... But I ordered anyway. I ordered one crab cake and one crab bisque. We were the only people in the dining room and after 40 minutes we still did not have our food. I went up to the counter and the teenagers working there all seemed clueless and said they must have accidentally forgotten about it and cleared it off the screen so had not even started. They offered to make it then but I asked to just be refunded... The (also teenager) manager came out and refunded us and apologized and offered future store credit, but we live in Florida so that doesn't really help. Ended up going next door and getting great food and service. (And cheaper crab)

Excellent food and nice atmosphere. We ordered burgers and a crab bisque. All was as requested and the presentation was great as well. Outside seating in the back is the best and it even has a Tesla charging station.

The food is great and the staff is friendly. You go up to the counter to order and prepay before you sit and eat. They do bring you your food and come check on you a couple to a few times during your meal. The only problem with the paying ahead of time is if you want to get something else (ice cream/dessert), you have to pay again for that instead of paying your entire bill together at once. It's clean and usually pretty quiet (not extremely busy) which is very pleasant. You can sit inside or outside as well.

We came here after reading the good reviews. However, we were so disappointed in our meal. We spent $75+ on filet, crab cake, and soup. There are no waiters or waitresses so you have to go inside to the counter to order, get more drinks, etc. The prices are outrageous and the food is absolutely terrible. The filet was chewy and dry and the crab cake was undercooked and mushy. The crab bisque was watery and bland. Hopefully it’s a side effect of Covid but I can’t understand the raving reviews of Port House Grill. We Will not be back.

I ordered a crab cake and cole slaw. Tried the Cole slaw and it was so good! Probably the best I've ever had. It was not time to eat my whole meal but I was really hoping the crab cake would be equally good. It was BETTER!! Five stars all the way!

The staff was so friendly and their homemade ice cream was delicious! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again. Thank you for making us feel welcome here.

One of, if not the, best crab cakes ever. So delicious. A tad on the pricey side, but worth it. Only weird thing is the ordering structure. When they bring you your food and ask if you want anything else and you say you want something else and they are confused because you forgot you need to go to the counter to order. Either completely offer service or don’t I guess. But whatever. Food is amazing. Worth 5 stars.

So clean, servers are super friendly and the food! It is true as described! All is made fresh and the crab cakes are really fresh and no fillers, my favorite is the crab avocado dip... the freshly squeezed lemonade is really a treat. I recommend Port House Grill.

we went to port house because the reviews seemed good no where did it say it was an order yourself get your own drinks and silverware place. we ordered a salad with a crab cake and fries and a burger with fries. $60+ 25 min later we received a burger and salad had to ask for the crab cake which was terrible fries with burger were clearly overdone and sitting around for a while and they forgot the other fry which we received after we were done eating and they were undercooked. there were 4 people that we could tell in the kitchen all talking and no one else was in the restaurant ...I will never return this was huge disappointment all we wanted was a decent meal at a full service restaurant after a long day outdoors and traveling
