Third time eating here, worse each time. The beef/onion pot pie wasn’t even stew, just liquid, frozen veg with thin floating top. Sliders had huge slabs of fat and the grits appetizer had zero taste. So disappointed. Apparently rly menu just changed but I don’t think that’s the problem.

I was really hoping to like this place. I may have to revisit, order different and hope for a different result..The service we received from our waiter was less than ideal. He truly seemed to not want to be bothered so that contributed greatly to the overall experience. The ladies at the host stand however, were pleasant. The place itself was pretty cool and featured an outdoor seating area with a fire pit.The Not Pocket was not tasty at all. There was little to no crab meat. I couldn’t locate any before sending it back. It was not at all what I anticipated. The burger was good, the sauce was better. The egg rolls we tried was unfortunately not great either.

Scratched my head when I heard the burgers were only well done, but decided to take a chance anyway. Was NOT disappointed in the slightest. The kitchen clearly does a great job, and the ingredients all seem pretty fresh as well! Veronica was our server, and she was extremely attentive. All around, the food is on the pricier side, but well worth it. Great job!

This was my first time coming to Wayward, my standards were high and they were absolutely met! The old bay hot wings and Korean bbq wings were out of this world. Best wings I’ve had in years! My bartender Devin sure knows how to make a drink… I got the strawberry refresher and custards last stand cocktails. When I get a drink at a restaurant I don’t want to leave with a stomachache from all the sugar and that surely did not happen. 10 out of 10 recommend this restaurant and bartender! Come and enjoy!

This restaurant is unassuming and a beautiful gem to be discovered. We came on a Friday night. Atmosphere: Wayward is located in the White Marsh Town Center. When you enter, there is a side room, the main dining room and an upstairs bar area. We sat at the bar upstairs and was greeted by the smile of Devin. He served us with the greatest professionalism. He gave great advice about the menu. His drink making skills are superior. On this particular day, Wayward had a live band that played upbeat music from various genres. It was a great vibe and backdrop to the dining experience. Because we sat upstairs, the music was not overpowering; we were able to converse with each other and dance. The Drinks: Yes. Yes. and Yes. Kudos to Devin for doing his thing. The Cider Mill Crush is the way for you. I dont remember all the ingredients, but I know it has apple rum, apple cider, cinnamon, ginger beer, lemon juice and some other things. If you like a semi-sweet fall/winter taste, this is it. I was also glad that they had a variety of bottled non-beers e.g. Bold Rock Cider, Hard Seltzers, etc. The Food: I ordered the meat loaf. It has all types of juicy meats, mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. I exchanged the asparagus for brussels sprouts. The meal's portion size is pretty large. I was able to get three meals out of this plate. I so appreciate that. My friend ordered the Big Poppa. It is a three patty burger with bacon, onions, pepper jack and other things. Super tasty. I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience here at Wayward..we were not aware that Wayward Smoke House was no longer, but we decided to stay and check it out. Disappointed...We ordered the Beef Strognaoff, the noodles were very much undercooked, chewy. The French onion pot pie was not good at all, not seasoned well and had a small puff pastry on top. The 2 stars are for the customer service (Waitress was great) and the cheeseburger egg rolls which were actually pretty good.

Excellent service, good food, and great atmosphere! Our server/bartender was very attentive and friendly, I believe his name was Devin. I had the mushroom risotto, my partner had the OG burger, and we enjoyed both. We will be returning!

The new menu is a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and lovely. Great wines, cuisine, and service. The staff is very knowledgable and offers excellent options. There's also plenty of room for larger parties.

The venue is not good for live music . The Bar separates the stage from most of the tables. The hard materials interior is poor for acoustics. The drinks are measured to the drop on the skimpy side. If you like a reasonable strong drink - DO NOT ORDER HERE. Beer and wine a better bet. We did not have food - but check other reviews. Not coming up rosey. Never going back.

Not at all a fan of the new menu. I used to go to Wayward for the brisket. It was delicious. Also loved the onion straws and various other side dishes. Only place nearby that I could get brisket. My jaw dropped when I saw the new menu, not knowing it had been updated when I went it. So disappointing. Sorry guys, the new menu has nothing on it that appeals to me. I won't be going back.

Went here for the first time, my partner and I each had three drinks. We were each charged for 4 and when I told the bar tender that the bill was incorrect he made me feel like I was lying. It was enough that other patrons became involved to check that my wife and I were not being taken advantage of. The bill was rectified, but I will not come back here, and I left feeling very upset as I’m an honest customer that was just trying to enjoy an evening out. If you go here, keep track of your drinks. There are criminals behind the bar.

Been going here a decent amount since they opened, we've always been happy with the food and service until now. The restaurant closed a little while back for 2 weeks for the commercial fridge breaking. The next time we go after they reopen the menu has been "updated" as long as in the definition means completely 100% changed then that is correct. I think the only thing left of the menu that is still on there is a simple burger and the existence of French fries. All of our favorites are gone. We ordered food and it took like 30-40 mins at 8pm to receive it. While we sat we watched other tables also wait a long time for their food. One table close by, two people got up and walked out because they waitEd for someone to take their drink order who never came. Food finally arrived. I got the "firebird" spicy chicken sandwich, cooked nicely but had like zero flavor, and wasn't much food. No pickles or anything as a garnish. My daughter ordered one of the "chef's favorites", French bread pizza. I had to help her cut it, it was nearly impossible it was so tough. My wife got the stroganof, it tasted "fine" to me. She didn't finish it, looked like a bowl of uninspired bleh. Everything that was awesome, the bbq, the soft pretzels, the buffalo cauliflower is gone. Can honestly say I won't be going back anytime soon. Sad.

What did you guys do with the menu? You changed from a Smoke House type restaurant to a limited Bar food menu. With Red Brick Station, Bar Louie, Chili's and TGI Friday's all within walking distance you have the worst menu. Even your restaurant in the city has a better menu. I will say your wait staff is very Helpful and friendly. If not for them, you would gotten only one star. And your chicken sandwich and salads with Dark Thigh meat. Now that's just being cheap. Bring back White Meat Chicken Breast! And your Smash Burgers, Two thin over cooked beef patties. Bring back the original Wayward Burger. They still service it next door at The Curious Oyster! At least They still have a half decent menu. You Guys need to get a better Menu because people will go elsewhere. I am!!
