“Pawn Run kept popping up on Facebook, the not salty podcast and even signs leaving my neighborhood. We usually go to Dutches, Honi and Firewater. We love those places on the lake. However, this past Saturday we decided to find out what all the fuss is about. Well, we are so glad we tried it! The drinks, food, atmosphere & staff were simply amazing. They had live music that wasn’t too overbearing and quick service all while providing phenomenal drinks and really great food! Try the Smokehouse Nachos and house Margaritas! The best is that it’s walkable back home! We can’t wait to go back!”

“It was my first time at this establishment and I must say it was the ABSOLUTE BEST I have been at in quite sometime. From the minute we walked in the door the staff was VERY PLEASANT , FOOD WAS SERVED VERY FAST , HOT AND it was a group of 5 and our orders were all correct. I took my twins out for thier 21st Birthday & thier significant others . The staff sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them it was ALL AROUND A GREAT DINNER AND EVENING SPENT. “The BEST pizza in Deep Creek period !!! Hubby and I drive an hour just to get pizza here .Everything is delicious but that pizza is some of the best we've ever had. 10/10”

“Saw the reviews from many who traveled this way, came in brought half dozen of the only kind they sell Donuts. Ms. Lil was so nice, had to support the store. She literally took my order over the phone, and held it until I got there. Edith tendered my order because Ms. Lil had left for the day. Good food.....Good people!!! “I was working in the area and the customer provided their barbecued chicken lunch and I cannot remember eating better chicken EVER! Lunch came with the entire left side of the chicken baked beans and Mac and cheese. I thought there was no way I could eat all of the chicken but I did along with the baked beans which were in my top 3, didn’t make it to the Mac but it looked good. Will probably eat there again tomorrow for lunch.”

“I’ve traveled the country and fell in love with many places, but the Honi for sure is the #1 spot I’ve ever been to! It’s kid/pet friendly, often has live music, and the drinks are always great! Bring chairs or blanket to enjoy the lawn and distance from others if needed!Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly! The lawn has games and a giant elephant to climb.”

“I come here all the time I love it! Fantastic service! Some of the best food I’ve had especially compared to Morgantown. I can’t stand morgantowns restaurants after coming here! Perfect pricing! “1st time I stayed here. It couldn't have been nicer! Rooms were extremely clean and looked newly renovated. The owner (miss kitty) was so nice. Food at the saloon was very good and service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning in the future.”

“We hired Jean and the crew at Traders Coffee to provide breakfast for 100 over two days at a local resort. We were not disappointed! Jean made sure that it all ran very smoothly, the variety of items, the freshness, the taste...all fantastic. My employees had nothing but great things to say about it and after the first day were so happy to learn she would be back with more goodies the following morning. Do yourself a favor and stop by, order catering, do takeout but don't miss this place. Say hello to Jean from the group at Everest!”

“Always a busy place, you really get your moneys worth the icecream cones are huge they have benches around if you want to eat there a lot of people eat in there car , I take my dogs we get a table I get my dogs half of a child size cone is they never charge me we sit at bench well we eat I enjoy going it's a very family place.”

“I love this DQ. Every year my family comes down to DCL on my sisters birthday and they make us a wonderful ice cream cake with my sisters bulldog on it. It's been 5 years now. They are friendly and kind.”

“We heard about this tavern/restaurant from friends and drove 45 minutes to get there. The food was great and the atmosphere was the perfect 'tavern' experience. It definitely earned the recommendations and met the time in travel expenditure with more returns planned for future.”

“This place is our favorite place in deep creek, the owner and her staff of wonderful ladies are the best! The food is delicious made from scratch, steaks are delicious and so are the soups. And the bar service is terrific, friendly and attentive. I just wish it were open more hours during the week.”

“I saw the pits smoking away in the parking lot and knew I found something good! Awesome BBQ, had the brisket sandwich and it was the best brisket I've ever had and I've tried a lot! I also smoke my own meats at home and this puts mine to shame. Wife had the grilled chicken and said it was delicious, nice char on the outside and juicy on the inside. Oakland is a very small town and this place is a gem! Highly recommend.”

I’ve always loved your food but tonight my pepperoni roll was completely raw in the middle. Come on now, you used to be fantastic! “Beautiful views!!! The dining area has awesome views of the lake. We came here starving after a hike and Firewater definitely delivered. The loaded fries were basically an American poutine. The burger was scrumptious with a juicy thick patty and delicious bacon jam. The only downside was that fries were on the greasy side with rather thick breading. All in all it was a great experience and would come again.”

“It’s good enough to where you don’t need to cook dinner at night when you get home from a 8hr shift or a 16hr shift.Parking: I really cannot really beat to much of the parking question up. only due to the Arby’s shares a parking lot with shop & save so there is plenty of parking for everyone.Kid-friendliness: Massive sit down area for folks & children if the desire is to dine in or there is a drive through if that action needs to be taken.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room for wheelchairs to move around & plenty of parking as well. Arby’s shares a parking lot with shop & safe. So not only can you get your groceries but you can also get dinner to if the urge to cook is not present there when you get home.”

“This subway is very clean now I don’t know what changed but it used to not be so clean . Anyways I went in last night after my Walmart trip and was promptly greeted by Craig who also made my sub . I can honestly say for the first time my sub was perfect by the time I got home and had just enough ingredients to satisfy every bite . I don’t usually do reviews unless it’s negative but our experience with Craig was so pleasant my husband said we just had to. He was very professional ,positive and kind . The world needs more employees like this it truly makes a difference and makes me want to come back and spend my money at subway again. Thank You”

“It seems this location doesn't have the best reviews however I had a wonderful experience today. There was a gentleman in line before me that was ordering 8 subs. The staff were kind and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The bread was soft and fresh. The cookies were all cooked perfectly! None were over cooked, which if you have been to a variety of Subways you know what I mean!”

“I have traveled all over and eaten at many Denny’s restaurants. This is undoubtedly the cleanest, friendliest, and tastiest experience I’ve ever had at a Denny’s. Very highly recommend, the staff has all been there many years and know how to treat their customers.”

“As I traveled through the fog trodden mountains near Deep Creek, I found myself in Uno. Comfortably nestled between lake and land, Uno offers affordable, delicious food with an incredible ambience that stands out amongst the tourist areas nearby. Our service was wonderful, being seated immediately and treated very kindly throughout our meal. My group and I started with the crab dip, the spices and cheesy crab were immaculate. For my main dish, I had the Moby Fish with fries. The sandwich tasted wonderful and the tartar sauce was so so so rich. However, the fries were a bit bland and the seating was a bit uncomfortable. Wash it down with some sweet tea and you have yourself a wonderful meal fit for the whole family. 4/5 stars.”
