“I've gone to various Tony Luke's locations but never been impressed. I'm from Baltimore, so maybe it's just my lack of a Philly pedigree, but I never understood the hype. I stopped in today on a wet windy Sunday and they were nearly empty. I got a beef Hoagie, no pickles or cheese and added fried onions. This was exactly what I was looking for. The roll is crispy but chewy, like a French baguette, the meat is well seasoned and fresh, as were the toppings. Is it worth $16+ tip? Prob not, but I am enjoying my lunch immensely so I'm glad I stopped in.“
“My family and I went to Winter fest of lights tonight and when we parked the food smelled amazing. We figured we would grab dinner when we were done walking the park. I didn't realize when we left the park, the time or that the place actually closed at 9. We walked in with five minutes left until close. I felt bad and said we would just go somewhere else so the young man could go home. This gentleman was nice enough to ask if we were sure and said he was still willing to cook. We decided to place the order. He had our food done in 10 minutes and we have an hour ride home. Got home, the food is still amazing! Thank you to whoever worked tonight.“

Pops had some of the best soups I’ve had.. even with it being takeout!French onion was amazing, 10/10.Chili and beef stew very good also!Broccoli cheddar - meh. Mostly broccoli, very little cheddar but still had a decent flavor.Pizza and sandwiches ordered were also phenomenal.Service was efficient and staff were friendly.
