There is better Mexican food to be had in gas stations across the US.The $28 shrimp fajita was sliced to give the illusion of quantity with lots of rice as an unsatisfying compensation while the kids mac & cheese bites looked like it was deep fried in burnt motor oil.

I was very disappointed in my visit to Mother’s. I have been here many times over the years, and the traditional margarita (made without mix) was really great! The food, however, was really not up to par. The enchilada sauce tasted like bar-b-que sauce, oddly sweet. The shrimp inside were like rubber, had to cut them with a knife. Go for drinks, head elsewhere for dinner.

Very poor customer service from the guy at the entrance who assigns tables.He spoke very rudely to me and my wife,made us feel like we had no where else to eat than wait for 1 hour 30 minutes.The point is not how long you have to wait,its the way he replied to us ,like we were from another planet,no respect.You do not need to be a prince in order to be treated as a human being and fairly. We left for another Mexican restaurant and found Tequila Mockingbird,the service was excellent,friendly and caring.Friends,i will recommend to go where your spending is worth the service.

House margarita is good with a jalapeños kick. Service is fast and friendly. The most notable is the price… about 50% higher than what we are used to.
