We loved it! We had only a 10-15 minute wait at 7:00 PM on a Wednesday. It was packed, so we were surprised at the short wait time.This place is like a mini Seacrets but with a play area for kids. You can request inside or outside, shade or sun. Food was delicious, crab & artichoke dip, crabcake sandwich, short ribs, scallops and jerk chicken entree. Only negative was the scallop entree, pricey at $36 and you only get 4.
Had heard great things about Ropewalk and was looking for a place to go with my two young kids. Ropewalk nailed it in a number of ways. First off, they had a ton of different seating options, we were able to get a nice table outside but under cover, which helped when it started to drizzle a little bit during our meal. Next, they have a nice playground outside for the kids. It did have a few puddles due to recent rain but that didn't stop us. Their food and drinks were excellent...read full review

Ropewalk is a great place for families, couples, or groups. The restaurant has a playground and overlooks the bay with beautiful sunsets. If you like dining outside, they have fire pits and picnic style tables as well as traditional tables inside. The service was attentive even on a busy night. I'd recommend to anyone in OC.
