The first Funnel cake served to me had a long black hair intertwined in the cake/ice cream and when I pointed it out to the employee, she became visibly irritated that I had asked her to make me a new one. The second Funnel cake had no hair but wasn't much of a Funnel cake because they used so little batter that the cake was sparse with more holes in it then cake. Paid almost $25 USD for a cheaply made Funnel cake with ice cream and strawberries on it. Where I'm from in Niagara Falls, Canada, the same thing costs $15 CAD and is significantly better. While I was waiting for the Funnel cake, a previously served customer came up to complain about their food not being cooked right and the employee was completely dismissive and rude towards that customer and refused to do anything for them. That customer ended up just leaving their food on the counter because it was apparently not even edible and just walked away. Pretty pathetic experience overall lol.

Service was fine, food seemed off. Can't put my finger on why it was off, but no one in our group would say the food was "good."

Tony's Place pizzaria from up the boardwalk should send it's management team to this restaurant to learn customer service 101, these guys rock and the food is great!

Pizza was delicious… we were there in a busy time and they handle everything right. The girl has a good sense of humor, seems like she has to handle a lot of things on her own. Great job

Amazing food and the 2 that worked with us in the kitchen were super nice! We ordered the red velvet oreos and the chef accidentally made the funnel cake instead, they gave us the funnel cake free and made our oreos too! The hot dogs were also incredible!!!

Lifelong fan of PJs have been going to this one on the Boardwalk for decades. Little disappointed this time. Got my usual, Johnny with da works and the works needed some work. Staff was super friendly. Pricing was higher than the one in Dundalk, but everything downy ocean is expensive.

Food is always great at Polock's but the service was horrible and the pricing is Ridiculous! First of all the only thing that came on plastic plates was the $4.00 slice of cheese pizza. 4 dollars a slice! Mediocre pizza at that. Cheese fries and hotdogs came on a piece of parchment paper. Chili covered dog on parchment paper. How cheap. Opened the drink fridge realizing I forgot to purchase a beverage and $4.46 for a 20flzo bottle of coke! Are you kidding me! Never comming back. Rude non American staff doesn't understand a word I say and demanded I ordered before I sat down like my money isn't good enough. Goodbye Polock Johnny's. ??

Been going here for years and it doesn’t disappoint. Prices across the boardwalk and ocean city are ridiculous but PJs has always been fair and continue to be. Food is consistent and best chili cheese dog in OC!

Went with my family while on vacation and I will NEVER go back. By far the rudest staff I’ve seen in my life!!! The younger guy and girl in the front should be fired for how they treated us. Food is awful, everything covered in old grease. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money..

Rude manager. I watched the manager chase away customers who wanted to sit down while other members in their party were going to order. Cashier inadvertently entered the wrong dollar value for our item in the register and the manager was hounding us about owing an additional $3 before they would make it for us. The burger did not taste good. The employees do not wear gloves and I witnessed the manager using their personal cellphone without washing their hands afterwards.

The food is just okay, but very pricy. Also, the management is unfriendly to customers.

My grandparents ran a motel on Caroline St from the 1950s-80s. The property is still in the family and we still go to Downtown OC. Polock Johnnys is still a staple for the family, as we've watched most of the 2nd and 3rd generation businesses close. The Unburger with the Works hasn't changed and is still delicious. Equally important, it's great to still see the owner and him hanging in with Downtown OC.Mike from Rockville

High energy and kind staff, tasty fries and decent pizza. My only complaint was the canned mushrooms.
