We've been coming here for over 20 years. The food is fantastic. I recommend the chef salad. It's huge! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They actually remember us each year. Love the Tiki bar and music on weekends. I recommend this even if you're not staying at the hotel it's attached to.

This is the second time we came here, such a good atmosphere! The food is delicious! I highly recommend the avocado BLT with a fried egg so good! Very fast service! The wait staff is so happy and nice! Great for breakfast and dinner! Isn't overly packed because it looks like it's part of the hotel but it's not. Rio Grande has out door seating and a out door "tiki" bar! So cute highly recommended!!

So bummed out, hope this is not the end of my Rio Grand,Tiki bar era. I live in Fenwick Island. This has been one of my go to spots for good food and a really amazing crab cake. I've told my neighbors for years to "check this place out, you'll be surprised by their food". Between my wife and I and all the people we have brought I bet we have gone through 100 crab cake sandwiches over the years. Two weeks ago I was brought a party of 12 and sat at the pool. Jaime took our orders and everything was great, food and drink. Tonight started off with drink orders, My wife ordered Chardonnay from James who said it was somewhere, but doesn't no where. She then ordered a Pina colada, but he made it clear that it was too much trouble at this time. I ordered a fish sandwich that was very good. Now about the crab cake. It was a clump of mushy puréed crabmeat. Just mush, no lumps. Never seen any thing like this from here. Mentioned to James, who argued that this is the way they have always been. I explained I've had these for years and they were always all lumps (menu states jumbo lump) he still argued, said we don't use lumps, just a mix of different kinds of meat. May eventually return and try again and hope this was an anomaly.

My first time visiting the Rio Grande Cafe. Initially everything seemed fine and inviting. Then things began to go wrong with my privilege to return an overly burned bacon. They had the nerve to not take it back.To add the food was not that tasty but equivalent to a pet food. On top of that the service was worse. We were the only Black people dining at this place and it felt like it. They took forever to fulfill our order and would not take our credit card. We have to take our card to the front but all of the tables around us had their check/ card was picked up by the waitresses Erin and colleagues. If your a person of color please avoid this establishment. With love.

We had the best breakfast here. We are from the UK and this is our favourite place so far. The service was perfect. They were very welcoming and tolerant of a family with 3 grumpy, tired children. We all loved the food as well. Be sure to pay a visit to this place when you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the cutest little place. If you're looking for cheap, good food than you've found a great spot. The omelette was very fresh with large chunks of tomato and fresh sautéed spinach. It came with the most delicious old bay potatoes. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have both an outdoor seating area and indoors. Everyone we came into contact with was so nice. Our food came out promptly. Very much recommend this little hole in the wall cafe.

If you are looking simple good food Rio Grande is it. Unpretentious food diner food that you can get. Their food was great just as I expected it to be. It was brought out timely and the coffee kept rolling. I truly enjoyed this place except one thing. I went to Rio with two babies for breakfast and my nephew is a a loud crybaby. I understand that it can be a nuisances but it is difficult to control a child's cry. I presume she was the owner or the manager who came and asked us to keep the baby quiet and seemed very annoyed by this. Though I understand why she may have done this, but the way it was done seemed rude. Again the food is good but not kid friendly .
