Nice atmosphere. Good drinks and the staff was very nice. However, food is not their strong point. It looked good but it was definitely not authentic (even by American standards) and lacked flavor. I have to say I enjoy Taco Bell more. Too much cheese. Rice and beans were dry and hard. Chicken was average. We added hot sauce to the complimentary salsa because it was very watery and bland. Would return for drinks at happy hour only, but eat elsewhere.

I came to this place during a birthday vacation. I have newly developed allergies. Trying to order a meal was hard related to sauces and the mixed drinks. However the amazing waitress COURTNEY was so helpful and patient. I love it. The atmosphere was great. Fast service. Food amazing and came out correct. Next trip I will return.

Was here earlier this year with my neighborhood Friday afternoon Happy Hour group, and I only drank margaritas, but they have great prices, an awesome selection of tequila, and their margaritas are perfect. They have daily food specials that looked really good. They are kind of tucked into a little shopping center on Rt. 50, so you might miss them if you didn't know they were there. A HUGE bar though - one of the largest I've seen in the area. Again, very deceptive from the outside. Give them a try!

The food was very fresh it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside so can be considered a hidden gem to those who love Mexican. Not greasy like a lot of them out there. Definitely recommend going during happy hour as it is a bit pricey. The cilantro rice was best I’ve ever had in all my life and my wife is obsessed with Mexican food everywhere we go.

Moderately slow Thursday at 6:30. Not jamming but not too busy. Hostess showed us to table, all business, no pleasantries ( on our way out she didn't even look up from her phone to wish us a good evening). The waitress was nice and efficient. The food was, in a word, bland. We don't like stuff too hot but even the salsa was zero spice. I had to add salt and a few dashes of hot sauce to the complimentary chips and salsa. Ordered 2 quesadillas for dinner, the short rib and the shrimp. Both, no flavor. Zero. This was our second try here and would not return. Can't recommend Tequila Mockingbird. Too bad, I like supporting restaurants that aren't big chains.

We love this restaurant for the drinks and atmosphere. We think the food is decent as well. Last night we went and I ordered a small caesar salad for $8.50. I was really angry with the small, and I mean SMALL side salad that showed up. Wasn't worth $3.00!!! They make a lot of money on the drinks so I would expect a nice salad to show up for that price and the waitress didn't even seem to care that we were so disappointed...Won't make the trip anytime soon!!

A short walk from our nearby hotel took us to this fine Mexican establishment. We were promptly greeted by the hostess, seated in a clean and inviting booth, and quickly approached by our server with menus and dinner recommendations. The menu was expansive! So many options. Finally, my wife selected a quesadilla and I choose a burrito. We didn't have to wait long for our meals to be delivered. Both were visually pleasing and served hot. Beyond tasty! The portions were beyond ample; had enough for lunch the next day. Overall, the restaurant exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely return next time we're in the area.

Pretty nice place for happy hour. The margarita was delicious. The fajitas were delicious. Nice portion size. Even had enough to take some back to the hotel. The salsa and chips were complimentary.
