First time eating there and have to say it was really good. Shrimp scampi was delicious and it was just the right size portion. I do hope they offer more GF foods such as pizza.

So glad I found this gem! Surprisingly delicious food! I'll come to Ocean City just to eat here. I'll likely only eat here. Authentic italian food was super fresh. Dinner started with piping hot bread, glass mugs of ice tea that was good enough to drink without sweetner, and fresh crisp caesar salad. The owner is Sophia and she's really nice. Had pasta and meatballs. Friend had chicken marsala. Good portion sizes. Cost is reasonable. So good!Kid-friendliness: Large open dining room

In a completely empty restaurant, it took 8-10 mins for the ladies to stop cleaning up dirt outside to take my order for a slice of pizza and fountain soda. The lady did apologize, but, she should have helped me first. Approximately 20 minutes later, an employee saw me sitting with nothing and then immediately began coordinating my order and gave me the soda I ordered. I have a feeling had he not seen me, I would probably still be sitting there. While I was there, two seperate customers came in to place orders, waited about 5 minutes and when no one even came to the front, they left. The pizza was good, I really liked it. I don't think I'll go back due to the lack of service and acknowledgement for customers. The three stars is for the good pizza and the nice gentleman that finally acknowledged me. Thank you to him.

I will give it a 3 at best! The positives are, we had a very friendly waiter and the place was clean. As far as the food goes, not so much. All of our food came out a different times. I ordered a Caesar with Grilled Chicken. The salad was definitely not Cesar, more like a Greek style and the chicken was paper thin. Extremely thin, like shouldn’t be charged so thin. My fiancé and son ordered two different types of calzones, both which came out after I was already done my salad. The meat one was desirable but the chicken one had raw chicken in it. It was disgusting. I have not tried their pizza, but it’s hard to mess up a pizza. I don’t think we will be returning.

Kelly and I went for lunch today with Honi and we were both amazed by the transformation into Sophia's. The service was impeccable, Sophia was absolutely fantastic. We felt so at home. The food was dynamite. I had a chef salad and the portion was huge. Kelly had a Caesar salad and slice of pizza and she, too was very pleased with the portion and the taste. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place.Kid-friendliness: Raven was pleased with her lunch, too!Dietary restrictions: A large selection addressing various dietary needs

I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo which was absolutely horrid. 4 shrimp which were absolutely delicious were placed on a bed of Alfredo noodles with no sauce or flavor. Needless to say, the noodles are still in the bowl. I was very disappointed. On the bright side, the locals absolutely praised the pizza there. I'm not taking any chances though, burn me once and I'm done. Will not be coming back.

I’m a picky Italian, and I have to say, this is the best Italian food I’ve had in this area. (And, we’ve tried many places with all price levels.) This was our first visit to Sophia’s. We had basics—chicken parm and eggplant parm. Both were fantastic! The sauce is perfect. The house wine was great and the prices very reasonable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be going back.Parking: Plenty of parking spots

We had the Veal Parmesan and it was delicious! The veal was tender and not overly breaded with the perfect amount of mozzarella melted over it. The sauce was very thick and flavorful and tasted like it had been simmering all day. The spaghetti was perfect. The portion was huge so we are looking forward to another helping for dinner tomorrow. Sofia included a loaf of crusty Italian bread that was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. We each had a side Caesar salad as well which was also excellent and plentiful. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10.

We went there for dinner on 1/22 and to start we ordered 10 wings, a mix of 5 mild and 5 Old Bay and they were awesome. They were so good that we ordered 10 more! We also ordered a pizza with sausage and the pizza sauce was delicious. Just the right amount of cheese and sausage too. The pizza crust was also light and very tasty. And their house bread is fantastic. We ordered a tiramisu for dessert. We were very full from dinner but decided it was a good way to cap off a great dinner. Well it ended up being a great way to cap off a great dinner The tiramisu was so good we ordered another one to go. The service was also fantastic! We highly recommend Sophia's!!
Sophia was extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel like part of the family. Great atmosphere for kids. The food was amazing- we ordered calzones, pizzas with different toppings, Greek salad, toasted raviolis (amazing btw!). Have to say the pizza was far better than ANY pizza I’ve ever had in NY! The crust was perfect. Their olive oil was top quality too! We will definitely be coming here every time we visit OC.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming, even had a box of some Legos for the kids to play with which was amazing! The kids loved it.

My new favorite pizza place in Ocean City!! Sorry to my old fave, but it's time to pass the accolades to Sophia.I ordered the Pizza Bianca Delux and it was absolutely perfect. Every great pizza needs a great crust and this really delivered.As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to be waited on by Sophia herself. :)

Was skeptical, after reading some of the reviews they must be under new ownership because the menu says Sophia. The kid at the counter working needs to learn some manners and not ask “Hey dude what’s up” when there are other people in line. Much to my surprise the pizza was really good, large cheese, and a large pepperoni, fresh hot. We will come back.

We have dined in and ordered carry out from Sophia’s MANY times before. Sometimes dine in service is a little slow BUT the food is fresh, hot and delicious. Definitely not fast food.Portions are generous and prices reasonable.Very nice ambiance inside and out and always clean.Waiter/waitress has always read me back my order and I have always received my order correctly.Sophia herself is a sweetheart and genuinely cares about her establishment and customers. You will always see her running around getting things done.The entire staff always seems to be hustling and working hard.I really do enjoy coming here for pizza, calzones, cheese steaks and the Greek food options. Always something new to try.Sophia’s is a gem!Highly recommend and will continue to be a loyal customer.

i live locally and there aren’t too many options for restaurants with delivery to me so tried Sophia’s out on Uber Eats. It was SO good and I was beyond surprised. I ordered chicken parm and a salad and it was enough for at least 2 meals. The salad was seriously amazing for a side salad and the bread was delicious and fresh. I will definitely order from here again and highly recommend!! Please don’t change ? Next time I’ll be ordering some dessert too. YUM
