We had the tempora, it was crunchy but felt greasy. The sushi roll we ordered, "Shiso Fine" could have been spicier and had more Shiso leaves in it, but it was fine.
One of my favorite sushi places in the area. Lovely atmosphere and feels very authentic. Not too pricey. Some good vegetarian options.

I go here for lunch all the time because they're oddly the most affordable lunch option given the surrounding area. But over the weekend I hosted some friends and got a platter and it was immaculate. This is literally the best sushi spot in the area. Everything is fresh, if you're not into the "raw" aspect of sushi but would like to give it a try, everytime the fish tastes fresh, feels fresh and they're not stingy with providing adequate portions per roll. I'm never disappointed, even with their apps and entrees. Me Personally I enjoy the Salmon & Yellowtail because they're the more flavorful fish to me, but it's all yummy. Not to mention they had my order ready on time! I can't say enough good things about Edo Mae!

After years of hearing this is the best sushi in the area., I've come to believe it is. Hands down. I've been to every other sushi spot in the Reisterstown/Owings Mills area and this is the freshest, most flavorful and most consistent sushi in town, hands down. Their social rolls are special! Their "standard" rolls such as spicy tuna and Philly have so much flavor. The consistency between visits is excellent. The prices are fair, servers and service are good, But the food - that delicious flavor-filled sushi rolls and apps, and anything else on their expansive menu, is so very good! Definitely recommended!!

Loved everything about our first, and definitely not last, visit to EdoMae! Place was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. Nice atmosphere, though the TV news being on seemed a little out of place. Service was excellent; prompt and friendly. Decent sake selection, and apparently they allow BYO / corkage, too (love that, wish we'd known!). Detailed and extensive menu, with photos of some of the rolls. Every piece we ordered was enormous, resulting in us having vastly over-ordered. We really enjoyed the Scallop Dynamite and 911 rolls. The latter is definitely as spicy as it sounds. The Double Spicy Crabmeat Roll was delicious but not particularly spicy. The "double" apples to the crabmeat, not the spice. The nigiri pieces were all excellent, as well. Will definitely return!
