I ordered the chickens wings half was not cooked. The shrimp and Grits are horrible do not order. They will not take food back or recook the food. It is listed on the menu. I was totally upset. I wish I had gone where I know my food would be cooked and satisfying.

The decor in this new locale is especially cozy... even better than the Canton original. (Ask to be seated near the fireplace nook... quiet and warm.). The seafood platter and crab cake were excellent, although a little bit pricey. I was equally pleased with old bay wings and calamari. Cream of crab soup was thick but could have used a bit more lump crab meat. Service was warm, friendly and timely in late afternoon before rush hour..

They wouldn’t let me substitute, pork bacon for turkey bacon. Pork bacon is unhealthy and i should be able to substitute that for the healthier option especially when ya’ll have turkey bacon for Sunday brunch.

So the interior design in the restaurant was beautiful… that’s it. The food wasn’t good at all. It was 5 of us and everyone complained about their food. The beer mussels were nasty. The sausages were overcooked and lacked flavor. The mussels themselves were ok. The Alfredo was watery. The seafood skins were cold! The cream of crab soup had no crab meat in it just a pinch on top for decoration. Nothing was worth the price or time. The pan seared scallops were good. I did enjoy the selection of raw oysters. I’m not sure If I’ll visit again but for a $347 bill I was very disappointed… I wish I ate some where else.

Worst service ever came on a Saturday afternoon and was just myself was seated at table. Waiter came asked about drink, water with lemon brought out glass of ice water with straw alreadyin it with no paper on top and no lemon . Waiter stated oh, I forgot lemon, that is the last time I saw him, thought went to Wegmans to purchase some lemons. I sat for 20 minutes no one came to take my order. Had plenty of unprofessional wait staff just standing around. I was not given choice to sit at bar, just taken to table. Will not go there again and will tell family about terrible service. Hope they have same luck there as Bar Louie. By way Bar Louie's food at this location was good. Can't say what food was like as never got to order. Service is everything which is a half star in my book.

12'27'2023 Visited w Sis before going to see The Color Purple. We were able to walk in and sit at the bar. We were greeted right away. We order 2 Salmon BLT Sandwiches. The kitchen was quite slow. We waited 30 minutes. The food did not disappoint when it arrived. I requested a Hot Toddy. Unfortunately, our bar tender was unable to make it. We stuck w water. Overall, a pretty good visit. Attractive atmosphere, kind staff and tasty food. I'll return in the future w hopes of a faster table delivery of food.

Ordered take out. I expected so much better, especially for the cost. I ordered a shrimp salad sandwich and a cup of cream of crab soup. The sandwich only had 3 sad looking pieces of shrimp with very little flavor. I expected an actual shrimp salad but I would not call it that. The soup was grainy like the tried to thicken it up with flour and did a very poor job. It also lacked flavor and had very little crab meat. I will likely not be going back. If you are looking for a much better meal, try Reters crab house in Reisterstown. Their food is much better, including their shrimp salad sandwich and cream of crab soup.

First let me start with that they add an 18% gratuity to the bill - we were a party of 3! Then the admin fee of 3%???? What?? The food was good but ALL of our food was delivered at once. They're called Starters for a reason. What a cluster. Will not be back.

The was a hiccup in service but the food was awesome. I had the Needful breakfast with scrapple scrambled cheddar cheese eggs and potato hash with the skins on them. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. I also had the seafood skins. Shrimp, scallops and crabmeat . Delicious

I have been about 5 times and the food and service were both remarkable. I have had the stuffed rockfish, hot lobster roll, and crab cake sandwich. They were all filling with good portions. My friend had the calamari and clams, which they said was also good.

Wanted to support new neighborhood establishment. First, after sitting there for over five minutes, I had to go looking for someone to ask there was lunch service provided at the bar. It was one of the rare times when I didn't want seafood, but asked the server first "how are your hamburgers?" "Our hamburgers are great," she replied. I ordered a medium hamburger with bleu cheese and bacon. I received what appeared to be a well-done burger with EXTRA crispy bacon. I immediately raised my concern with the first server, but because I was short on time, I admittedly told her I would give it a try. I cut it in half and took a bite of one half. Yes, I took a second bite and confirmed that it was inedible-to me. Don't know where my first server disappeared to, but when a second showed up I told her that it didn't want it. She said she would talk to the chef. A manager showed up. I showed him the EXTRA crispy bacon and demonstrated the burger's dryness by giving it a little mash. NO juice. He shared that there was nothing he could do because I had eaten a quarter of the burger. The fact that I had expressed concern to the first server after one bite and shared my ultimate displeasure with another server after giving them a chance with a second bite meant NOTHING to him. His interest was more in citing policy than customer satisfaction. I interrupted him, firmly but politely, requested my check (which includes an 18% gratuity and 3% administrative fee-whatever that is - though he did discount $4, which may have been the administrative fee) paid and left. My advice: don't order hamburgers; don't give anything a second bite, just to confirm- it truly is what it is, or is not -good; don't bother speaking with the manager-service and satisfaction are clearly not his priority; maybe just avoid this location of Mama's all together.

Great food and excellent service. Definitely is $$$. Not going to lie but comparable to Canton and seafood generally is expensive now but don't want to skimp on raw food. We split a few apps and oysters and were good. Restaurant is beautiful and do hope they have a happy hour soon.

NEVER GOING BACK! I had The worst dining experience today. My order was simple, wings and a light waffle. The first waffle I received was very dark, and the second looked great, but it had a grainy texture as if sugar had been dumped into the batter. I pointed this out to the server. She engaged the general manager who refused to take the waffle off the bill. He offered to reduce the bill by 20%. I didn't feel it was appropriate to ask me to pay for a food item that was prepared incorrectly. General Manager Otto presented us with two options....pay the bill or he'll call the police. I have NEVER been treated like this before. Otto says the restaurant policy is that customers are responsible for paying for all food items whether satisfied or not. That's not exactly what the policy says. And I'm surprised that a business would expect a customer to pay for an item that comes out incorrectly. I did not change my mind about the item. It was not served in a condition that was consumable. I would highly recommend that you save yourself the hassle and dine elsewhere! My question to the owner, Jackie McCusker, is this your idea of great customer service?

The food was beautifully presented, and tasted oh so delightful. Food and specialty drinks were amazing!
